SPEAKER_01Amen. It's a powerful day. Amen. For God to speak his word unto us. Amen. For shifting or to shift. Amen. And you know, shifting is a uh decision. Right? Everything we do in the body of Christ is a decision. Uh glory to God. So everything we do in the body of Christ uh is a decision. And so we have to make the decision to move in the way that God desires for us to move. And we walk through that through a level of obedience, through a level of confidence in Him. I think one of the greatest, or one of one of the things, or maybe some of the things is uh, and and we may talk about it here just a little bit as we get into the word is uh relationship. Relationship with God, right? Right, and having in shifting, and having a relationship or a revelation of the love of God, the love of God, the love of God, he says, after everything else goes away in 13, he says, the only thing will be left is charity, is love, right? So a revelation on the love of God, what it what it does is it gives me sometimes we're trying to get more commitment through study. We're trying to get more commitment and dedication and reading the word of God, and that's all that's good. But that's what that's not really where commitment and dedication, that's not really where uh uh you're gonna get for to move you, is the thing that moves you is a revelation of the love of God. When I have a revelation of the love of God, the love of God will bring more commitment and dedication just by itself. Y'all follow me? Which now causes a shift. See, if you try to make a shift within yourself, you can't do it. But you have to have the things working, components working on the inside to cause you from the inside to shift. When you shift on the inside, there will be an outward shift. You're seeing what I'm saying. So you need the word, you need the love of God, we need the word, we need the love of God, so that the word of God and the and the love of God produces a shift in me. Glory to God. Glory to God. So where love lingers, he even he the scripture even tells us we have to understand how powerful the love of God is. The Bible says, and you might just skip over it, but the scripture says that the faith that we talk about using, he says it works by love. And sometimes we just skip over that and go over there real fast and kind of slip by. But he says the faith that he gave us to use the way it works is by love. Faith works by love. So that means if I'm gonna have more of any ingredient out of the fruit, it needs to be love because everything else after love works by love. I do it, I do it like this. I say, love is the curn rod. The current rod that holds everything else. Everything else hangs from all the rest of the fruit, they hang from that current rod, that strength, that power of love. Right? So development in love, because sometimes we keep trying to make. You plant it and you wonder why it ain't grow. Well, they don't have the right conditions. Some some plants they they can't initially start off outside, they have to start off inside, and some can never go outside. So once I provide the condition, the environment on the inside of me for shifting, and I maintain that environment on the inside of me, I'm gonna shift. The word says no way possible for me not to shift, and that's an environment that's uh that's fairly fully in me in love. Huh? I can't work the world's system way of functioning and the world's system way of doing things. I have to work from the perspective way, from the perspective way God gave. And and the Bible says that God He so loved the world that he so loved, his love moved him into action. But he he he is love. It ain't love, it's just not something that he he just decided I'll take that. He is love, so the love that he had moved him into action when what took place with Adam in the garden took place, right? So he says, For God so loved the who? The world that he gave. And the word gave is likely that it required his son. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but shall have everlasting life. That he gave his only begotten son. In other words, what was needed was required, but he gave it. Gave means when you give something, it means willingly. Glory to God. It means willingly. It didn't mean he had no head, he wasn't saying, Well, I don't know if I wanna, you know, he he he he wasn't indecisive or he wasn't hesitating in the midst of it. It says that he gave his only begotten son. So then, if I'm gonna move prospectively, glory to God, this ain't what I did. If I'm gonna move prospectively and fulfilling what God has called me to do, I'm gonna have to so love God to do it. I'm gonna have to so love him to do it, and so that it's done in such a way that he moves on in this. So when we talk about the death, burial, resurrection in the final ascension uh or in the ascension of our Lord and Jesus Christ, we're talking, we're we're really speaking about the love of God. And Jesus loved the Father so much that he was willing to give up everything he thought. If he thought anything, I don't know, but he was willing to fall in complete uh compliance with what God had said or what what they said had to be done and needed to be done. You see what I'm saying? And so when he came down and he was born, you we didn't hear him say the scripture doesn't record it. I imagine he didn't say, well, he didn't ever say, I didn't choose to be here. Glory to God. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Sometimes sometimes church might tell their parents when you kind of get on them a little bit. Well, I didn't ask to be here. Right? Right? But he didn't he didn't get down in no situation where he said, I didn't ask to be here. I didn't want to come here. My daddy just sent me here, and so I'm just gonna down, I'm just gonna walk through this thing and do it, and and hopefully I'm glad I'd be glad when it's done. The Bible said that they so loved God, God so loved us that he gave his only begotten son. Only. I mean, that's a love that goes past, I don't know, our thinking or our imagination, or the way we see things, the way we might hear things, but that love goes past that. But Jesus was developed in that love, and that's why he could do, that's why his will never had a play. Because he's developed in the love of God, and his will was to fulfill the purpose and the plan of his father, of his daddy. So he was so developed in that love, no matter what he would have to go through, he was willing to do it, willing to agree with it, willing to achieve it. Now, if I come from that perspective and I look from my position, then I have to look from a position. Now, this was internally in him. He wasn't playing with no stuff out on the out on the tree. This was internally in Jesus. Right? To perform these actions that he performed, and not to be deterred, not to be disturbed, and not to be turned around from doing them. So when folk came up here to him and would talk to him about something, uh in John 5 and 30, he said, I only do. That means he was keen on what God wanted. He was always talking about what God wanted. Another, probably maybe another one of our drawbacks is sometimes a lot of time we spend in our our thoughts about us. Right, right. Our thoughts about uh, you know, all design is wrong to think about you, but if I spend too much time thinking about myself uh and don't take a whole lot of time thinking about him, then my actions in many cases will be a move toward myself. Right, right, and so when Jesus came uh in John 5 and 30, he said, I can of my own self do nothing, right? As I hear, I judge. And he says, My judgment is what? My judgment is just when we hear the Lord, and when we we we judge what's being said, then we have to come to the conclusion that the judgment, if it's from the Lord, is just right, because I seek not my own will, right? And sometimes we we mix God's will up in our will, and and we think they're gonna jail together, and uh, but there's times there's conflict in my will and God's will. And if I if and if I don't know, I gotta unjail that. If you can unjail something, which you can't, just kind of start all over, right? But the will of the Father which has sent me. If my heart desire is not directed toward his will, the shift will be difficult for me. I'm just saying how to shift, you know, it will be difficult for me. Why it'll be hard, it could be almost impossible for me because of the way my will is bent in this particular thing. So I have to align my will with what he will. I have to believe that what he says is right and true. Right? Right? And this is a lot of alignment for us to do, especially us Americans. Americans, we got it bad. Because most of the time we can go and eat what we want to eat, we can sleep where we want to sleep, we can do what we want to do. We can have sometimes, you know, you know, within what we won't have. So it's difficult for us, right? When he's requiring something of us, and many times what he's requiring, we don't even think it's necessary. But until my until my will becomes bent to his will, right? Until I start, it's a struggle and it could be painful, but once I learn how to bend it back, I can get good at bending it back, right? Glory to God. Glory to God, because you gotta believe, you gotta know that when you came into Christ, you were already bent in a certain direction. You're already bent. He said, Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the reading of the mind. The issue is most of us was already conformed to something in this world, and he strikes a strike against it, he said, Be not conformed to that. He said, but be transformed, and so I have to get in the process of transformation so I can transform my soul into what he's asking for, into what he wants me to do. And I don't spend half of my life fighting and battling with what he said for me to do, right? Or what the word is said for me to do. Glory to God. Glory to God. So that's how, well, that's what it takes for shift. It's not mystical. I gotta fall in love with God, maybe all over again, maybe fall in love deeper with him, right? Whether however you might want to say it, however, I might want to do it, to apply myself to him. What the shift, ah, glory to God. What the shift, what would my shift look like? I stopped debating if I'm gonna do what the word says or not. That's need for shift. I stopped debating it. I start on purpose putting his stuff first and putting my stuff second. This is shifting, right? We're talking about Hisha. Everybody can say, help me, help me, help me. I'm preaching this, but that don't mean it don't pertain to me. So don't be looking at me like that. I'm preaching it, but it doesn't mean it don't pertain to me. I didn't even tell my stuff is written on this paper right here. What I was intended to do, but Pastor Glory, she impressed me. She impressed upon me. Glory to God. Glory to God. See, sometimes I can be working and struggling, trying to do the God thing, but really I'm not doing the God thing the right way. I'm doing it my own way. I'm comp I'm I'm applying it where I want to apply, I'm working where I want to work. Then where I don't want to do, I leave that part out. But that's really a part that you need to get in. You see what I'm saying? Oh, you hear what I'm saying? Right? Right? Right? So in that part of of uh of shifting, I don't want to really work externally. I want to wait kind of till a shift begin to happen on the inside. See, because the shift on the inside, what is it? It's not a temporary shift, it's a permanent shift. Glory to God. It's a permanent shift. So when I'm when I'm shifting, it's like a you got you in a when I'm when I'm shifting, it's like you're in a car with a with a manual transmission. You got a you got a clutch and you got a gear shift, either in the flow or either on the stirring collar. They used to have most of them in the in the flow now, uh in the flow. And and when you get and when it gets ready to shift, there's some action you have to take. You have to engage the clutch, and then you have to move that gear shift to the next gear you want to go to in order to shift. If you don't engage the clutch and you move that gear shift, you're gonna hear some grinding noises. And some of us engage in the clutch. We're trying to shift without engaging the clutch. In other words, we're trying to shift from the uh external instead of having a shift on the external, whether I engage the clutch and make the shift. Well, I just heard something in my spirit. He said, if you engage the clutch, I'll do the shift. If I would engage the clutch, you're trying to get him to make a shift, and you ain't even engaged the clutch. We sometimes might be waiting to. I want to see what he's gonna do. Well, he probably gonna do nothing because you won't engage the clutch. Because he needs you to engage the clutch so he can make the shift. Ah, glory to God. Need me to engage the clutch, need us to engage the clutch, right? And right, and you can't, you want we sometimes we want him to do all the work. Oh, good God am I, huh? Huh? But I'm gonna do your do your part. Look at your neighbor and say, do your part. Engage the clutch. And he'll make the shift. Glory to God. Glory to God. Glory to God. I want you to understand, uh, glory to God. I want you to understand how shifting takes place. God never makes shift without our individually or corporate decision. He said the whole body, the leadership, engaged the clutch. How's the leadership do that? The leadership is on one accord, the leadership is in unity, the leadership understands what God is trying to move the body, and so the leadership engages the clutch, and God makes the yeah, I might be almost done. And so I have to engage with him because I'm in partnership with God, right? And Jesus, he engaged with the Father. When the disciples and they were walking and they were coming and they were going to another town, and and uh, and they were walking, and uh, and that was this trail, there was this sign on the side of the street that had an arrow on it that said, Tem Samarita. Jesus saw the sign, and something in his spirit says, I must go to Samarita. But the disciples said, Oh, we don't go through there. Jesus said, I must go. He shifted. Glory to God. He said, I must go to Samaria. And he went to Samaria and met the woman at the well. And this woman went out and preached to her whole country. Glory to God. Why? Because Jesus said, I only do what I hear the Father to do. I'm gonna go ahead on and go on around. But I got to go through here. Say what you want, talk about me, call me whatever you want to call me. But I gotta go through here. So you have to engage with the Father. You have to work with him. You cannot deny everything he asks you to do. Gower to God. Put aside everything he asked you to do and then expect some kind of shift. Ain't just like they looking, they dig in the same this year as they looking last year. Ain't God's fault. No, come on, sir. I gotta look back into maybe what he didn't talk to me yet. What he didn't what he didn't say to me, what I have omitted or omitted and chose not to do. Huh? I gotta look back in that and say, oh, because he'll bring it, he'll bring it to your attention. Yeah, yeah, he'll bring it up. I was thinking, I was I was actually thinking this. This is about a week ago. And I and I'm so it's it's so good for the Holy Spirit. I said, Well, well, Lord, we just it seemed like to me we you know, we just going kind of uh you know, to me, kind of mediocre. I don't I don't know what I'm looking for. I'm just having a conversation with God. And God said to me, He said, son, he said, you really don't understand the impact you've made. This church has made in the spiritual realm. I said, I said, what impact? Then he began to talk to me. He said, You see this right here? And then when Pastor C showed the video, tears begin to come to my eyes now because I'm realizing what he said. So don't ever discount because of where you think you are. Because sometimes we look with our eyes and see, and our eyes give us a bad picture. Because we measuring it off of what we see, we measuring it off of what we hear, we measuring it off this, and we measuring it off that, but God ain't measuring it by that, right? God measuring it by the spirit. He measured it by the spirit, and if I never decide to measure by the spirit, I'm gonna sometime be off. But I need to learn how to measure. And I said, I said, What Lord? He said, Yeah, yeah. And then, you know, when God when God comes and you kind of talk to God like that, and then God talked, and then we were here in uh in the in the prayer, and uh Pastor Seton put up from the podcast all of the different countries where the podcast has gone into. I said, Lord, we doing that. He said, Yeah, you doing that. I said, Yeah. See, because in our perspective, in our perspective, it's all right. I mean, it's it's all right, but sometimes it's off from what God sees. And sometimes we need to say, God, what do you see? What what do you see, Lord? What do you see? What do you what do you tell me about this thing? Because I'm kind of feeling kind of some kind of way about it. What do you see? And he begins to tell you what you see, he begins to tell you what's there, he begins to tell you the effect that you're having, right? Because all of his word has an effect somewhere and at some time. Glory to God. Glory to God. You you you you follow me? You get what I'm saying? I said, I said, Lord, I said, Lord, have mercy. That is uh that's powerful. He said, He said, Yeah. He said, He said, folk taking this word that that is being preached, coming out of this church, taking his word and they are growing. Is that right, Pastor C? I didn't know that. But they're taking his word and they are growing. Sometimes you might want to grow here, but God decides, uh, are you uh okay, yeah. Uh God says, yeah. But I I there they're people that's crossed the world. They need to hear the word just as much as you need to hear the word. Oh, glory to God. So we talk about shifting, uh, shifting. Uh that's why everybody is important. Everybody in this body is important because everybody has a gifting and a calling. And you can bring some that God lays in your spirit, and the ministry begins to operate, you begin to operate, the ministry begins to operate, it, and it changes people's lives. Changes people's lives, it produces new perspective for people. Glory to God. And so that's when you uh glory to God. That's when you that's when we talk about shifting. So shifting is always internal. Right? It's always internal. Remember, everything God does. Boy, I ain't gave y'all no scriptures. Everything God does. Well, I didn't, I didn't uh I didn't uh I can give y'all some scriptures. Y'all need scriptures, but uh, but uh everything that God does, he works from an internal piece. Works internal. Don't worry about what's happening, making something happen on the outside until you know something has happened on the inside. Don't put the cart before the hearts, as they say. Make sure something's happened on the inside. Right? Don't work yourself up, don't think you're behind, right? All of us behind. That's why we got Jesus. Kind of help us catch up. Right? So work that inner man, that innermost being, man, on the inside of you. Work him. Pay attention to him, listen to his alerts, listen to his soundings, and listen to what he's giving and what he's saying, and what he's directing. Go when he says go, and when he says hold back, hold back. And then develop love. Develop, develop the love walk. Because everything hangs on that love. Everything, everything hangs on it. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. So develop that love on you. Take time to develop that love. And as you develop the love, take time. Here we go. I said this before I know. Take time to believe the love. You've been you wouldn't be shaken so quickly if you believe the love.
unknownRight?
SPEAKER_01You hear what I'm saying? You wouldn't be shaken so quickly if you believe the love. If you believe that God loves you, you wouldn't be shaken so quickly and so easily. And because I'm gonna talk about me, because I believe the love, when situation happened, I believe the love. I believe if this happened, then God has a way. And I believe, I believe the love. That's what it means. Lord, I believe you love, I believe you love me. Sometimes when things happen, people fall out, and God don't love me. God did why God let this happen to me. That means you don't believe the love. So I learned how to believe God's love. He said he loved me with an everlasting love, an undying love. He loved for me. I have to believe in that love. I have to confess that love over my life. Jesus, God, Holy Spirit, they love me. They love me. I don't care what happened in my life. Now I'm in his, I'm in, I'm in his kingdom. I'm in his life, and he loves me. He loves me some Jesse, he love himself some Jesse. Huh? Huh? You gotta tell yourself, he loves me some, huh? Well, whatever your name might be. Uh-huh. He loves me. He he loves me. He loves me so much that he said he'll never leave me, nor will he forsake me. He'll be with me always, even until the end. And if this is the end, I'll go. Because he loves me. He loves me. He loves me uh in in in school. He loves me out of school, he loves me on my job, he loves me working, he loves me here, he loves me everywhere I go. He loves me in Walmart. Even when some people might not treat me so good up in there. He loves me. Even when they might not treat me so good at work, God loves me. He loves me. He loves me so much that even when I mess up and I go and repent, he says, son, I love you, I forgive you, uh, I'm gonna fix this thing.
unknownThank you, Lord.
SPEAKER_01Sometimes I had might do a little ah, because he loves me. He always has a way. I guess I'll close this up. He always has a way to get me out of what I got myself into, even though he told me not to do it, and to some degree I knew not to do it, but I did it anyway. Glory to God. And he comes up and shows his love. Glory to God. Then one time me and Lisa, we were paying off a loan, uh paying off something, and I said, uh, man, we should do and pay this thing off. And uh I called a guy, uh, it actually was a student loan, and I called a guy, I said, Well, how much more do we need to pay on this thing? And uh, and the Holy Spirit led me to call him actually, and he said this. He said, Well, do this right here and do this right here. I said, Well, okay. All right, I think he told us we had to make make another payment or two. We never wouldn't, I never would have knew this if the Holy Spirit, the gentleman. He said, if you make two more payments, he said, Guess what? Uh uh, just write us a letter and uh we'll respond back to you and we'll forgive the rest of the debt. He loves me. He loves me, he loves me. I didn't come up with him, I just prayed to him about it. Came up in my spirit, I'm tired of paying it. Glory to God. He loves me. And the Holy Spirit told me what to do and put the right person on the phone, and boom, it was done.
unknownYes, Lord, hallelujah!
SPEAKER_01He loves me. I don't care what kind of situation you got going on, the problem sometime, if we won't get the one who loves us involved. Gotta get him involved. Get out of feeling I'm embarrassed and I shouldn't have done it, and blah, blah, blah. Well, you might be embarrassed and you probably shouldn't have done it, but you repented and it's done with. Now go to the Father and find out how you can get out of it. Huh? Huh? Glory to God. God loves you and me. Somebody might have been adopted. Don't know they will parents, and uh, it kind of uh messes with children that get adopted because eventually they wonder why they're parents. But I don't know why your parents might have done what they did, but you need to know this that the parent God, the Father, He loves you. And if you would develop that love, that love will override any type of feeling you might have that the enemy trying to use against you. But you got to develop that love. All of the fruit of the Spirit are in us, and we have to take the time to develop them. You have everything, we have everything. That's why he said, God has given us everything or all things that pertain to life and godliness. Why? Because he has given them, it's in there when he planted itself in you, in me, it's in there. He said, now just develop them, develop love, develop joy, develop peace, develop uh uh meekness, develop kindness, develop all of these gifts because they're gonna help you in your walk with Christ. Glory to God. Hallelujah. That's what you do if you want to shift. See, because you have to understand, God is not gonna impress on you, or God is not gonna, maybe I'll use this a better word. God is not gonna make you shift. He's not gonna make you. You I we're gonna we're gonna have to say, everybody wants to go to the next level. Let me say, maybe I'll use another word, next level. Go to the next level. Right? Right? Every basketball player uh that's coming up today, they wanna they wanna do more than LeBron James did. In other words, they want to crease. Somebody wanna break his record in his statutes. They want to increase. But how do we create increase in God? We get his word on the inside. We don't just do mind service and lift service word. I know the word of God. We get his word on the inside of us. We allow his word to uproot stuff in us that shouldn't be in us, and once his root his word uproots stuff in us, then guess what'll happen? That uprooting of oh glory to God. Glory to God.
unknownGlory to God.
SPEAKER_01He said they're there shifting is hard. When there are roots in your life, in our lives, that we still won't. When there are unwanted roots in our lives that has no way, that has no uh comparative to the kingdom of God, these roots keep from a shift. Okay, let's use the clutch thing again. We're getting ready to close. Getting ready to close. I go and say it twice. So now I only got one left. Right, right. So so you so the clutch, but what if there is stuff when you go to when you go to get me get me some. Let me get me some. What if there is stuff? Oh boy, he just said this to me. I'm doing the work with the best I can. That when I go to shift, there's stuff blocking the shift. I go to push the clutch, but there's stuff there that won't let the clutch fully go down to the to the floor or close to the floor like it should go. So because that didn't happen, then he can't shift. Because there is stuff. There's stuff in the way. I want a clutch. I wanna hit the clutch. Somebody say I wanna hit the clutch. I wanna hit the clutch. Somebody say I do hit the clutch, but when I hit the clutch, there's stuff in the way.
unknownJesus. Jesus.
SPEAKER_01When I wanna hit the when I wanna hit the clutch, I do hit the clutch, but and I'm saying, Lord, I'm hitting the clutch, but nothing is shifting. And he said, 'cause there's stuff in the way. I done all I can, Lord. I done all I know to do. I've been shifting, trying to shift. But there's something coming up from the floorboard that's preventing the clutch, even though I'm pushing on it, preventing the clutch from going all the way to the floor, so that he can make the shift. And I gotta ask the Holy Spirit if I'm having them kind of issues. I have to ask the Holy Spirit, Lord, what what keep what is keeping me from fully engaging the clutch? Ah, glory to Jesus. What is keeping me from fully engaging? If I'm if I've been trying to shift and can't shift. Some things, sometimes. Glory to God. So you have to shift. Right? Y'all get something out of this. Huh? Huh? Huh? See, see, never blame God for the failure to shift. Right? Never blame God. Never, never say, God, well, God, take the time. Right? Sometimes just go in your prayer closet and sit and listen. Say, God, what what do you want me to hear? What do I need to hear? That's what I do sometimes. Just what you what you need me to hear. What you need me to hear? What do I need to hear to make the change, to make the shift? Right? Right? Because God doesn't want you to do it by yourself, but he does need our participation. He does need our participation because he'll help you in all of those different things.
