SPEAKER_03We're supposed to flow because every joint supplies. God, I thank you for that. Every joint supplies. And so we don't miss a beat. Because you know what? Our steps are supposed to be ordered of the Lord anyway. Now, this is hot off the press. All I know to do is to just be practical. Because, see, that's what the word has been for me. It's been practical. You know, it does no good for it to stay on the page. It does no good for us to read it. We have to come into agreement with the word of God. And all I'm telling you, all I know to do is to flow right now. Because, yeah, God is doing a new thing in me. And in you too. Now, poor, I don't want to.
SPEAKER_01God, I know you'll let me do this.
SPEAKER_03You know, Pastor Jess is some male. You know, in the studying this this week and all, there's several things I've heard, several things I've read and so forth. But um, and I shouldn't say, but, and it is let me know that sometimes when we're doing, when when it seems like we're jesting or so, it's it's it's not a bad thing. I know I gotta qualify that. It's okay, am I okay? Oh, okay, okay. Okay, because they'll they'll look at me and I have to make sure that I'm doing right. Anyway, she doesn't be laughing at me. Anyway, I started thinking about with Pastor Jesse, and I when I read the word about jesting and so forth, that you know, it was saying it was like it wasn't a good thing. But what's in your heart? It's not it's not a thing to where it's a put down. Laughter is good mess. You gotta find something to laugh about, and so when we're talking and we're messing with each other, it's in love, it's in love. He don't, he don't, um, uh, he don't call me a cow. He doesn't he don't call me out of my name. You know, he doesn't call me something that's contrary to the word of God, nor does he do things to me contrary to the word of God, nor will I do it to him. I don't try to find a little way to tell him off in a funny way. It's in love, it's in love. When he says all the way from northwest, from the northwest side of he said of uh Oklahoma, but it's law, and he he said law. He don't tell you that I live right up the street. He don't tell you that. And I said, I wonder why he don't say that. You know, but see, I know between him and I, it's it's it's funny. It's funny because, you know, some people get the wrong idea that, you know, she lives right next to the church and she comes at this time. I sure do. I I sure do. Because see, I like to come ready. And there are things I do. There are things that I do to get ready to come. You, you, you won't like me if I wasn't ready. And you see my face. No, I'm not a demon. No, I don't get out of character. But you know, I wondered this week, why is it that we can't wake up the same way every day? I need the word. I need the word, and you do too. We need the word, okay? What is she talking about? Anyway, I just wanted to bring in uh Pastor Jesse. I love this man of God and the woman of God that he is married to. And yes, it is true. I'm not bragging on myself. You will see why I'm saying what I'm saying after why. When he says it's something, or, and I'm gonna paraphrase it or so because I'm just who I am, that you've seen the growth. I know I've grown. I'm not bragging. I know I've grown. I know I'm not the same person I was yesterday, and y'all, I am not the same person I was seven years ago, prior to my husband's death. And prior to his death, I wasn't the same person five years before that. I've grown, and what has caused me to grow is what we're going to talk about today. It's something when somebody else sees that you've grown and what you have grown in. You know, I lose and I gain weight. That's you know, that's that's growing and losing. But I'm talking about growing in the spirit, that's what he's referring to. Growing in God. Why? Why was that? Because, see, the word tells us if we continue in the word, then we are his disciples indeed. And so the Lord took me to the word because I'll be honest with you, many, many, I can't say all of my life, but it's just been a long, long time ever since I know knew that there was a word, the word of God, and starting to learn that the word of God is the thing. I'm I'm uh and and I don't have a better choice of words, so don't don't beat me up and all of that. But it's the thing that helps you to grow, it's the thing that changes you, and I've always wanted to know what the word said, how it applies to me, how can people get up and they get and I know what the Lord said, and yada, and and they can just they they're just flowing with you, or they can just stand there and just talk. Well, you know how people can do that? It's because they have been in the word, and the word got in them and changed them. That's what the word has been doing to me. I grabbed hold, and that I found out that was the only thing that could help me. The only thing that could help me. When my husband passed away, I was there, it was not something expected, and there was I went through a process afterwards, and I don't want to go through all of the things because some have heard this. I don't want to go through everything, but I know this. I knew that God was beckoning me to come home once we had gotten back here to lawn because he passed away when we were in his hometown. And I like I said, I don't want to go through all the details, but my daughter who lives up in the city with her husband and my grandbaby, precious little Jack. And now I have a grand dog. And we have bonded finally, Dolce. Dolce, you hear me? Sit down. But we bunded. But anyway, um, afterwards, of course, they they all of you you that that were here, you beckoned around me, but my daughter was was there, and da-da-da-da-da-da. And anyway, when when I was up there for just just a little bit, um I could sense, I got that impression there was an auction for me to come home because God wanted to deal with me. And nobody else could do this. It's not to say that people's love, their concern was not helpful. I'm not trying to put anybody down, but I just remember a word which I said to this song, but you will see why this is so necessary for this word today. That he said uh there can be expectations. This thing pulling my pants back, but it's heavy, but anyway, probably say, as you said, because I'm practical, because I'm real, and it's it's not disrespectful, but um um I I as I said, I felt this unction to come home, and the Lord has spoken this word to me. Because, see, in crisis and in or in situations that we might encounter, whether they are, I'm gonna say, especially when they are unexpected, but any crisis, the Lord said to me, There are expectations that you can have as to how to conduct yourself during a crisis, there are expectations that other people can have as to how you're to conduct yourself in a crisis. If you resided in those expectations, you would negate what I'm trying to get through to you. That was powerful to me. And I'm talking about he spoke it right away. You see, when there is a crisis, first of all, there's a way that the world will go about doing things, and there's a way that the church will go about. The church can act like the world in some situations, the church can act religious. Now that ain't putting down the church, it's just that we're going to need the word of God to help us through whatever it is, and see, that's what helped me because I would have negated, I would have neglected what God was trying to get through to me because other folk, and even myself, thought or can think that I'm supposed to act this way. Are y'all you getting what I'm saying? I'm supposed to act this way, but see, the word of God is true, it's true, and we've all we've heard that today. We've heard it. And that helped me. So in continuing the word, becoming his disciple indeed, disciple meaning disciplined one, one that doesn't step away or reside in worldly expectations, but one that will get into the truth. What does God say about this? How are you supposed to handle grief? Because see, it is a part of life. Y'all know that, right? It is a part of life, but the word is living, it's living, but living in the truth because see, I had to grab hold of this. God is with me. He started speaking to me to the place I could write it down. Now he was, he had already been speaking to me in times past. But I'm telling you, with this right here, I had never experienced that before. Ain't never been married before. I never lost a husband before. As a matter of fact, I even I shouldn't even say lost. And when people approach me like that and they say, Oh, I'm sorry you lost your husband, I say, Oh, thank you, but I know where he is. Now you probably say, What are you talking? Like the prison just trying to be be kind to you and da-da-da-da. But see, there's a stand that you take when God has spoken to you. When God resides in you, there's a stand that you will have to take. You can't act like you don't know something, and so he will give you a way to have sweet lips about it. And so when they're saying it, I stand there just, you know, thank you. But I know where he is, and then it just like it changes, it changes them. Because see, God had told me I'm gonna be using that, I'm gonna be using it. Because, see, the word told me we're not to grieve as those with no hope. So when I saw in the word the truth about grief, see that changed, that changed everything. That changed stuff for me. I did because, and then too, you probably let me go back a little a little bit. Even to know that he had spoken to me. I knew, first of all, the word has said, My sheep hear my voice, and a stranger they don't follow. And that I am come that you may have life and have it more abundantly. So I knew that anything spoken to me that was contrary to the word of God, it wasn't God. See, that was getting in the word. Are y'all getting what I'm saying? So look, let me get to this. Today, I just want to talk to you about the purpose of the word. The word has a purpose, and we've been sitting in here, seeing, sitting here, hearing it, or standing in praise and worship, listening to it. I may not be able to just uh I don't I don't know the song, um, but I know we've sang it several times. But when it the first song that was sang today about when when when you when where you go, I'll go. What you say, I'll say. What you pray, I'll pray. So when I was over there, I said, good gracious of mine, that's the word. It's the word. How do you do that? How do you do that? What you say, I'll say. Well, Jesus was that example. He was that example of going where God told him to go. Praying what God told him to pray, saying what God told him to say. Now I'm gonna be straight with you, because this this came to me. You know, some songs, I may not like the way that it's choreographed or or whatever. Don't hear what I'm not saying when I say this, or for what I just said, because I'm gonna qualify with this. I listen to the word. Because, see, when you've been thrown off kilter because of what's uh something someone has said, just like I was telling you about expectations. See, it's expected that you grieve, it's expected that like to listen to the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lay down. What do you think about when this try to think before you really got shown up saved? When you heard that song, what did you think about? What's what what situation would come to your mind? I heard it. I heard funeral, but you know what? That ain't no funeral reading, it's no funeral song, it is life. He is my shepherd, I shall not want. Though, yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, death ain't you stretched across here. That's not the limitation on walking through the shadow of death. Him being with me. It's not there. Death is like darkness, darkness you can't see. There's no revelation. When I was thinking about this message today, I said, it would be nice if they could just turn all the lights. I said, but it'll mess up the stuff on the screen. But close your eyes. Do it for me real quick. Close your eyes. What you see? Nothing. You see dark. Open your eyes. You can't see anything, but you see the Lord being our shepherd, leading us and guiding us into all truth, leading us into light, being light is life. What kind of life? Not just any kind, but the way, the fulfillment of the purpose and plan he has designed for our life. Am I making something? The word does that. And so, see, when you get into the word, God will begin to speak to you. There being, there, there has to be an attitude, of course. I'm not saying that just because, like you all know, old little stories people would tell, the little boy say, I'm gonna stand on the word, or a person say, I'm gonna stand on the word. They got the Bible and stood on it. Well, nothing came out of those pages. Of course, he stood on. No, it's about getting the word on the inside of us, coming into agreement, yielding ourselves to the voice of the Lord, which is his word. Now I'm being practical today. If I'm talking too much and it's bothering you, ask God to give you ears. Because he's straight up giving me some strength to say, because I I all I can do is flow. Yes, it's a lot of scriptures I gave them, but see, this is out of, this was coming out of my mouth is out of the study. This is revelatory for me. This is what God is doing. Shinabako, this is what God is doing in me. God said, Well, I didn't know, I didn't know you, but all I know you be, it's a woman, a woman of God. We tell you, you you you didn't want to know me some years ago. You know, I wasn't in a bad person, bad, bad person, but I could cut you. And I ain't talking about taking a it was this, it was this, and and and some things I would back back down on. But see, I began to learn through the word who I am, who I am, what I possess, but above all, who God is. And when you get to know who God is, let me tell you, it'll help you to know who you are. So, what I'm saying to you is that the word is not just something you just sit and read like it's a storybook, but you have intention, you have purpose when you read. God, I want to know you. I want to know who I am. And leave off that thing. Don't don't let the first thing be that I'm gonna see what I can get, and it be physical. But see, we've got to know who we are. Well, first, who God is. Because, see, that's the beginning of wisdom. And I heard that through that proverb today. It's a beginning of wisdom to get to know God, and getting to know God, you're gonna get to know who you are, and then what you possess, not just things. Because he I just lost the scripture, but it is in the Prosperity of his people.
SPEAKER_04Help me.
SPEAKER_03Within the prosperity of his people. I want to say he rejoices in the prosperity of his people. And that prosperity is not just things, it is peace. Righteousness. Everything, as I heard earlier, everything pertaining to life and godliness. He rejoices in that. He wants to give us. When we get up. And I said, God help me. But you know what he told me? He says, that's why you need me. Every day. You see, the word is living. It's just living. I'm not bragging on me. That's what he's doing in you. God, why can't we just get up every day and just feel the same? Just feel like we can run through a truth and leap over a wall. I heard the Lord say to me, My mercies are new for you every day. That's the word. So the purpose of the word, he enlightens us. He restores us. When I heard the scripture, Psalms 23. It's no longer a death scripture for me. I don't have to want. And the you know what makes me not wanna when something comes where I say, Well, God, I want I want to get this, I want, I want to get that. He's he creates a balance in that he said, I'm gonna let me order yourself. He brings that word back to me. Let me order yourself. I'm the one that has made you. I know the plan and purpose that I have for you. That may not be in my plan. That's why I go, God, that may not be in your plan that this right here happened. So I humble myself under your mighty hand, and you will lift me up. You see, the word comes. So it teaches us, it trains us in everything. I'm just gonna say to you, you gotta what I'm saying, just grab it while you can. I'm saying if you can write it down, do it while you can. But you ain't giving us a diet of scripture. And what it listen to the scripture. Just just listen, because I'm saying the script. You may not see it up here on the screen. Yeah, they got all them scriptures back there. But they may not have all that what I'm what I'm saying. And I ain't putting no, I ain't trying to put nobody down. None of that. But I'm saying sometimes I have to grab it while it's there. Because when the Lord gave me this word, I was sitting right over there. And Pastor Jesse was he was he was up preaching, and I heard this the purpose of the word sermon type. The purpose of the word. So we have to just let him flow in us. And see, when we're full of the word, we we ask God, God, help me in utilizing this word. I don't want it to be just on the page. Going back to something I said earlier, I wanted to know what was said. I wanted to know how to apply it. I needed help. And when I mess around and somebody said, Well, you know, we got to study to show ourselves approval. Oh, a workman that need that uh uh rightly dividing the no, no, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. God said, I don't want to mess nobody up. Go see I was messed up. Certain things that were said, certain things that were spoken, it didn't mean that. It did not mean that. And you know what it did? It brought condemnation. It brought condemnation. And so it's like uh I remember something I uh I think Pastor Gloria and I had gone to gone to eat one time, and I and it's just like I'm sitting right there at that table, and it's like boom, the Lord just like he spoke to me to say to let me know, see what you your your mission is, your purpose is to make is to make sure that you go after those that the word has, and I may not be saying it like I said it then, but this is how it's coming. Those that may have been twisted up in their thinking, not knowing who they are, you're going after them. But see, the Lord had already spoken to me to tell me there are a certain group of people that I'm to minister to, and so there's some people that have been torn up in their mind, and when you tore up in your mind not knowing who you are, because the word has been twisted, the thing, the thing that's supposed to be your help, your thing that is the truth about who you are, who God is, and that be tame you be blinded to it, like the enemy has tried to blind folk. Let me find, let me find because I I want to. Um, I believe can you go to 2 Corinthians 4, 3 through 4? And even Romans 1, 18 through 22, where the enemy has blinded, he there's been a blinding effect, but even if our gospel is uh, and that's from the amplifier, but even if our gospel is in some sense hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only to those who are perishing. Now, watch this. I know it's not, it didn't say in there that okay, somebody says something and and and they're perishing and they're blind. Do you know that when the word is not rightly divided, it has a blinding effect? Because you can't really see. Close your eyes again. Can you see me? No, open your eyes. You can't see me. Close your eyes again. Put your hand in front of your face. Imagine if somebody was trying to hit you and you didn't even know. Somebody was trying to give you, keep your eyes closed. Think about somebody was trying to give you something. And they say, Okay, open your mouth now. You can open your eyes, take, put your hand down. It messes you up, and you're trusting the truth of what has been said. Now, please don't think that I'm trying to put down those that have brought the word. I'm not saying that. I am saying that we have to get into the word ourselves and ask God to help us to understand. So I know what happened. I'm sorry. I know what happened to me. And I say, no, and you know what? To have somebody that's ministering the word to you and they laugh at you. They laugh and say that you you don't know that they can they could they could say anything to you and you'd believe it. Yes, that happened to me. And the cunning craftiness, the deceitfulness that happens with that, and I said, no more. No more. So I had to get into the word myself, and I asked the Lord. Now, don't hear when I say myself, I didn't get in there myself, using myself, my ideologies, my philosophy. No, I asked God to help me, and he filled me. Oh, that number, he filled me with his spirit. Because somebody was trying to tell me I wasn't saved because I wasn't speaking in tongues, and I knew I believed. But when I found out in the word about receiving the precious Holy Spirit. But see, again, God has given me some folks to speak to, and I don't have to scare them. I don't have to say, you don't have this, you don't have that. Just become, just trust God. Just trust God, just trust God, and He will reveal Himself. He will. He will. The Word does, said Pastor Jesse. Because, see, when you get saturated with the Word, what comes with the Word, like for instance, you can't separate the Spirit from the Word, you can't separate Jesus from the Word. When you get saturated with the Word, that's what's going to come out of you. You see, if fight is in you, if anger is in you, when something goes contrary to what you think or what you might want to do, what's in you gonna come out? Mashita Baha. Glory to you. So when I encounter something, I'm just telling you with me, when I encounter something that's contrary or just difficult, you know what comes out of me? Evidence of the Spirit of God. Tongues come out of me. A curse. It's not uh I don't do that. I remember one time, and I probably said this before when I've had the minister. I remember when my husband was alive and we lived on the east side of town. We were renting a home before we bought this one. And during fall break, we were running and we were playing with Carmen. I messed around there and slipped, and and uh uh and and I fell against the truck. Knocked my knocked my shoulder, I think it was this one, knocked my shoulder out of joint. Oh, that hurt. But you know what? It did not come out of me. It was um it was not even there. I'm serious, it was not even there. But what came out was Tom, and my husband was looking at me. And all while we were driving to Southwest hospital at that time, I was just under my breath. I wasn't yelling out or anything like that, but it was calming to me. We get up in the emergency room, and the guy, um, the the doctor, you know, they they look at you, and and I'm telling you, his hand was like healing when he touched my arm. And under my breath, I was just speaking in the spirit. He said, You're not putting a curse on me, are you? It was so funny, and that's why, again, you have to, you know, yes, be careful. Well, see, that was for me. The tongues were for me. It helped me through the situation. I was coming into agreement with who had been placed on the inside of me and the help that had been placed on the inside of me. Y'all with me? So, what's in you is going to come out. I told you this before. When I was teaching, sometimes the kids would be getting on my I mean just just out of control, just just just in the stuff. Y'all know what it's like if you got kids. Man, I remember this one day, and like I said, I've said this to you before, but it's just the truth. Tongue started coming out. I didn't get the yell or anything like that. I was just looking around, just uh book and idiots. The kids stopped. Once it kind of someone looking around, they looked at each other. One of them said, She speaks Spanish. And then some of the y'all know how they'll do. Like they don't, they don't let one person know something they don't. Then I thought about it, what did what did they go home and tell their parent? Oh, Miss Jonathan can speak Spanish. Then their parent come in, come in there and say, My son said you speak Spanish, do you? And you know, some of them, it's it's like, uh, can you teach mine? I my mind just went to just just wondering. Then I thought, I said, what if one comes and and it's something contrary or whatever? They just want to mess you up and say, or or the kid, no, it's one, it sounded just like uh what they be doing at church, you know. Well, I said, I'm gonna tell the truth. I usually give you a scenario. So I said, well, I'm what I'm probably gonna say is, ma'am, when your child is just kind of messing with you, or you're just you're at your wit's end, I said, you what do you do? They may say, I count the 10. I said, Well, that's my count to 10. That's my count to 10. But either way, I just looked at man. The word is powerful, it helps, it's helpful. Now, let's let's go to uh that that one for uh like yes, it's hidden. Go to Romans 1, 18, at least 18. Where for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men and hold the truth in righteousness. Now, I went all the way to 20 to 22, but we don't we don't necessarily have to do that. The reason that I had us go there is to say that God has revealed himself, he reveals himself to us. So we don't have to be wondering about, okay, we've got this God. And and just for you to get the whole the whole thing, for the wrath of God is revealed from the heaven from from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in righteousness. Let's go a little bit further because it doesn't give you, doesn't give you everything that you that you need. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because that I'm sorry, that that's fine, that's fine. They're without excuse. So it's been revealed now. Later in your own study, you go on to 22, okay? Go all read all the way to 22. But here's the thing: we are without excuse, because as it has been said and sang today, spoken or or or sang or sung today, God has revealed Himself to us. It's that we did not receive. So the word has been given. Even when we consider John 1, verse 1, where it says, in the beginning, before all time was the word, and the word was with God. The word was God Himself. He was continually existing in the beginning, that's co-eternally with God. If I moved too fast, I'm sorry. All things were made and came into existence through him. So when you go back to 18, you see, it's been revealed through the creation. He reveals himself. I say, like he said, I'm your husband. You don't you don't trust me? I would tell him, I say, even God proved himself. Like I said, y'all, y'all. I made it practical. I say, even God proved himself. And he did. And he's proving himself right now. Think about when you got up this morning. When you looked outside. If you even took the time, open, you took, you opened up your eyes. If you took the time to say, How am I seeing? What is that I'm seeing? And you look all around and you see the beauty of nature. In my flower garden, I look at some of those flowers. I look at the intricate details of those flowers. And I say, You did that. You did that. When these are made, the attempt is to is to make it look as living as possible. And when I look at the details of these flowers, what a God. What a God. When I when I just look at my own hands. And you say you get a cut.
SPEAKER_01Oh you feel a you feel you feel a pain. I said, what a God.
SPEAKER_04How do my fingers move?
SPEAKER_03This woman is something wrong with her. When I look at the ooh wee. What a God. Isabel, what a God. When I blink, how did I do that? How do you make my lungs breathe and my heart beat at the same time? What a God. I mean, when you just when you start to think about, just take some time someday and just think about it. Take some time someday and just think about it. You ain't got to look at a baby. Look at yourself. Just look at yourself. And then this just blows my mind. This part here blows my mind.
SPEAKER_04What I am thinking.
SPEAKER_03And then what you thinking, I don't. Know what you're thinking, you don't know what I'm thinking, you don't know where I'm getting ready to go, you don't know what I'm getting ready to say, right? But this right here, when I think about, I'm thinking, I'm talking, the functions of my body are operative. What's that man over there in Spain? God is causing them or him, he's causing his heart to beat. He hears what he's saying, he knows what he's thinking. Watch this. He didn't just say, okay, I can only deal with Anne right now as to what she needs to be saying. But he knows what you're thinking right now. And knows what you're getting ready to think. And watch this, all at the same time. Selah. All at the same time. I just say, ooh, that I I cannot, I cannot stand to meet. I cannot. You can't either. I mean, I'm now why am I saying it? Who wouldn't know that God created them? Who wouldn't know that if he created you, he's worthy of praise. He knows everything about you. Y'all, this this is revelation to me. I don't think about this every day. Sometimes I do, but it's like it's it's far beyond me. And I got to go and do something. But when I just think, just stop someday and just think about it. When he said, like in my devotion, when I read something, and maybe God will say, Today, if you would just take the time and just look at my creation. He says to me, you the problems, the things that you're concerned about, they seem to vanish. Now, it's like they don't just go away, but see, it brings about a stress when you sit and concentrate on that situation, that problem, that concern. It brings a stress. And God will let me know I didn't bring that to you. So if you would just take some time and look at my creation, you will see me. And when you see me, you will see how big I am. And that you are concerned about. And what happens with him revealing that truth to me, I'm encouraged. Then I feel like I can run through a truth and leap over a wall. You hear me? I can get up on hind's feet. And when you're on hindsight, when I started studying about that, when you're on hind feet, see, you're able to, you're able to handle any terrain.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_03Terrain, how many kids may not get it? Some of us adults may not get it. I didn't look it up too. I just figured out that like I teach the kids, or I would teach the kid, context, baby. Context is clean. It's king. So when you're talking about you can walk over any any terrain, that's any kind of ground. Any kind of ground, any kind of situation spiritually. So when you take your mind back to God just by concentrating on the a fly, when you say, Why is he doing all that with his little little antenna, his little legs or whatever? Or you see a bug creeping across the thing that I just do like that that keeps on. Now I'm learning. God made the get-go. But don't come up in my house because you ain't gonna make it. You ain't gonna make it. Miller P, come up in here if you wanna. I'm gonna handle you before the the air gets to you that causes them to die. I assume. It's so dry, it'll be dry up in the house. They get crawled, they stay up in there long enough. See, they don't have any water. So they won't have no nutrient, they don't have no nourishment. But I'm gonna get you before it gets to that. I understand it, God creates. But then to think about how did God make that? But when we take our eyes off of the situation and we turn our eyes toward God, if you just see the creation, and we're not sitting there worshiping the creation, we're not, but it says that when God has given a directive, just start looking at my creation. I am God all by myself. I don't need any help. I can have all things on my own. I'm the first and the last.
SPEAKER_01Whatever you need, just as I am, I am, I am God.
SPEAKER_03You know, that's a song. He's got it. So the last time when I spoke, and it said the song was turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his wonderful face, and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace. See, the word will take us there. Because he said, I made everything. That's the word. In the beginning was the word. The word was God, it was with God, he made everything, and without him was not anything made that was made. Then he became flesh and dwelt among us. Who was that flesh? Jesus. Then Jesus showed us how to live. How to live. Why did he need to do that? Why did he have to send Jesus? Because we got blinded. Adam and Eve got blinded. They put us under something so that everybody that came thereafter, they were spiritually blind. They became spiritually blind. Don't worry about going to the scripture because it is a scripture. Don't don't I'm saying y'all don't worry about going. We became spiritually blind. They put everybody under that. So we needed to be regenerated. We needed to be renewed in our spirit because God is spirit. And with us being three parts body, soul, spirit, that spirit needed to be renewed. It needed to be regenerated. And before that regeneration, pride, everything contrary to God was there. Because that's one of the things that caused them to do it anyway. Oh, we are calling old sleufer. He ain't got no feet. He ain't what people made him out to be. He just low down, okay? The way, you know, we want to talk about the way he looked and all that. I don't care how he looked. What I'm concerned about is his character. If his character don't line up with the word of God, he ain't God, he's not God, and I don't need to follow him. I don't need to believe him. The word says he's a liar, and the truth ain't in it. He was a liar in the beginning. He was a deceiver. Because Adam and Eve knew who they were, and God would come and visit them. So it would say, in the cool of the day. So they say he had a relationship with them. And when he came that day that they had turned away from him, they became spiritually dead. He knew where they were, but he still asked Adam, Where are you? He didn't ask him that because he didn't know where he was. But see, we have to reside in our identity. He was showing Adam. You've forgotten who you were. Just like us, Adam, you're blind. You're blind. You can't see. You can't see. You're disobedient, son. I can say it like disobedient. And see, that's the thing. We have to know where we are. And know. When you think about where you are, if you if, and and I'm and when I'm saying you, I mean why you, when we think about who we are, when we're given that opportunity to think about who we are, we will see our need for a savior. We will, especially if we look into the word and see what it says. We look into the word, which is that two-edged sword that reveals what's in us and judges what's there. It cuts, it divides that three parts: body, soul, spirit. Because that spirit, the spirit of God, which resides on the inside of us, is perfect. But our soul, the part that needs to be saved, needs some help. Flesh should just come on alone. It will. If we allow the spirit of God to arise, arise, to be regenerated. Regenerate, put back in right standing with God because we fell away because of Adam and Eve. So Jesus had to come for that. He gave us an example that this can be done. This is who God is. So just like the scripture had said earlier, we know He has revealed Himself to us through it, even through His creation. So we have to get back in right standing with Him again by receiving Him. There was something else that I needed to do. Revealing, guiding us and revealing truth and stabilizing us, it does so. By us looking into it to see it says, you are I'm a lamp to your feet, and I'm a light to your pathway. So I show you what to do. I show you who I am. I show you you. Not for the purpose of killing you, but for helping you. You are my creation, you are my love. And as I was studying, we're not talking about just the children of Israel, it's all of us. Because the Israelites, they were disobedient. We we can't talk about them. If anything, we need to be thanking God for them. Because their disobedience allowed us to be grafted in. So just as some of them are right now, that's who we were before coming to Christ. Disobedient. And you know, we are still learning or going through this process of transformation, being changed into his very image. Let me say this because I heard you gotta follow. When we have been made in God's image, we have his character. We have everything. Gloria was saying, we have everything, or somebody else said it too. Everything pertaining, I think it was Jane, everything pertaining to life and godliness, everything's everything is already there. The fruit of the Spirit is already in us. So this regeneration process turned everything around. Everything, everything was given to us. Now, everything, but we don't know it. We've been blinded. And as we are walking, as we're continuing in the word, we're becoming sight is being given to us. It's there, it's it's there. God doesn't want to hurt us, hurt us, he's not here to harm us. He said his plans are to do us good, to give us a hope and a future. We have to just come into agreement with what has already taken place. That's why, again, you can't have somebody teaching you some of everything. You gotta know who you are. That's why we can't be religious. We can't come with a bunch of rules and regulations. Because the spirit of God is not rule, it's not rule-based, it's a relationship. It's character. Character is not rules or regulations. Don't you know that that somebody can like when a kid, let's say, get in trouble. And you may you may say, now, now I need you to stop running in church. Or I need you to start running in the house. Well, when you leave, the kid runs. See, it has to get in them that I don't need to run because first mama, daddy said not to. And the reason they said not to is for my safety. They love me enough to help to keep me from harm. Not creating a fear in them. I heard Pastor Jessie talk about this. Not to create fear, but you want you want them to know I'm trying to keep you safe. And so that's what God is doing. I want you to be safe. I want you to experience all that I have for you. All. And see, I've given you all. Y'all know what Pastor Jesse says about all. That's everything. That's all me. Everything. But then it's everything pertaining to life and godliness. He's provided that, he's made provision for us with that. Now you know what? There's so much more that can that that's there, but I I hear this.
SPEAKER_04I hear it. My sheep hear my voice. And a stranger.
SPEAKER_01God has been so good. So he is so good.
SPEAKER_03He's given me a saying that's concerned about everything in my life. He's a many rest of God.
SPEAKER_01And he speaks to me and to you through his spirit.
SPEAKER_03Because he's spirit. And for those of us who have accepted him and have come into agreement with him, we are will experience an abundant life. He saved everybody. Because he put himself out there. He put himself out there for us. Jesus died on that cross to put us back in right standing with God. They removed. That helped when we accept it. That helped to remove the blinders. Because the word being the light that reveals that shines. Reveals who God is and who we are because of him.
SPEAKER_01It brings us to a place of stability. We are complete in him.
SPEAKER_03And so, but there's a process that we continue in to come to know who we are and who he is. There's no situation that he can't bring us through. No situation. Because Jesus said, I died for that.
SPEAKER_01I died for that. I want you to come to know me.
SPEAKER_03And I keep revealing myself to you. And I'm going to keep on giving you opportunities to come to me to experience my love. And to truly worship me in spirit and in truth. That's why, again, today I hear this. Offerings are not limited to just money.
SPEAKER_01I hear this.
SPEAKER_03I offered me. I offered me for everything concerning you, concerning my creation. You're the only one that is humans. You're the only one that have been given an opportunity to have a conscious response to me.
SPEAKER_02All the other animals. They do it mechanically.
SPEAKER_03They operate mechanically or instinctively. It's the sun, the moon, the trees. That's mechanic. But we're the only part of his constant, of his creation that has been given an opportunity to make a choice. My grandbaby would say, make a message. To come to me. To accept me.
SPEAKER_02Will you do it today?
SPEAKER_03I thank you, God. Yes, you're rejoicing over your salvation. But there are some that are yet blind. They're yet blinded. Will we be ambassadors? An ambassador representing God that will tell them the truth. That they owe their all to the glory of God. He's the one that made provision. Who has provided a high priest that understands what we go through.
SPEAKER_01But has prepared a way for us to come.
SPEAKER_03He says to come boldly. Before the throne of God, you will find mercy and grace to help in the time of your need. Those of you that are watching online today, we still are.
SPEAKER_01But God loves us. He loves you.
SPEAKER_03As a matter of fact, he is love. That no matter what we've done, he yet made a provision, even knowing we were going to do it. But he's made provision through his son. He came himself through his son. He was the one that became flesh and dwelt among us. God dwelt among us. And he desires to share eternal life with you and all of us in here. And the way that we do that is that we just simply say, Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and personal Savior. I'm sorry that I haven't given you my life before. You gave yours for me. So I receive you as not only Savior, but Lord, where you can govern everything. You can order my steps. You can have my life. I give it to you willingly and consciously. And I thank you for saving me. If you've accepted him today, get in a good Bible teaching, word teaching church or fellowship. If you want to keep listening online, you'll hear the truth from this ministry, but there are other ministries around the world. What's going to happen is that you're going to grow and truly become his disciple indeed, to where you will know who you have committed your life to, who you truly are in him, and what he would have you to do. You see, it's by grace, the grace of God, that we have been saved. Not of ourselves, it's a gift. Jesus has paid it all. So we owe him our lives willingly. Thank you so much for listening to us today. And we pray that you know that you are blessed because of Christ. Not because of us, but because of Christ. Have yourself a good week and continue in the Word of God, becoming His discipline one. Indeed. We love you.
