Hello, and welcome to the Born Again Podcast, where we believe in the truth and that the truth comes from the Word of God. Thanks for tuning in. We pray that you will receive all that God has for you.

So we want to talk about uh this morning just briefly, we want to talk about a renewed mind. Amen. A renewed mind. And we're very familiar with uh the renewed mind. The Bible talks about the renewed mind in Romans 12 uh and 2. Amen. And so our mind has to be uh renewed. The mind that I have before Christ, and then when I come to Christ, that mind I have to has to be renewed, right? And so you under you understand uh process that uh you understand process that through process is the way I renew my mind. It's the way I I I get myself along with the Holy Spirit helping me uh to get my mind renewed in Christ Jesus. Why does it need to be renewed? Because the old way of thinking don't work in the kingdom. So my old way of thinking don't work in the in the kingdom. So uh if I'm gonna begin to uh receive that that the kingdom of had that the kingdom has, then I'm gonna have to uh renew my mind, right? And so you understand uh when we got saved, we understand when we got saved, uh our spirit man, the Holy Spirit infused our spirit man, right? And the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5 and 17, therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature spiritually, right? He has a changed nature, she has a changed nature. You understand that when the Bible says man, uh you have to kind of look at it in scripture to determine is he's talking about uh the man, man, or is he talking about the man God created, right? Because God said that he made a man, right? And he made that man, uh uh, he made the man, man, and then he brought in the the female, right? Uh, so we understand what a man is. So he's really speaking really from a spiritual standpoint, right? And so we're new in our so that we get renewed in our minds. So if we got that scripture of Romans 12 and 2, yeah, there we go. I say in Romans 12 and 2, uh here, uh he's talking about the state initially in this verse that we were in before we came to Christ. But what he does, he reverses it and said, be not conform. But when we came to Christ, we were already conformed to something. Right? But he said, and be not conformed, meaning I need to reverse that. He said, and be not conform to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Right? Now, as part of the soulish realm, uh, demonic oppression and different things like that, those different things can be cast out. But the mind is a part of the soulish realm. And you can't cast out the soul. That's why he tells us to renew it. It has to be renewed because you can't cast it out. It's not demonic. You know, when God made it, it was good. It came up on some things after Adam got done with it, and then after even after we got done with it, uh uh, but uh when God made it, it was good. He says so, and be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of the mind. Transform means to become literally something different that that not has not existed before. Right? When I am transformed, may look the same, but there is a transformation that has taken place in me because why? I have renewed my mind. So uh the Holy Spirit helps us along with the Word of God helping us to renew our mind so that we come into the things of Christ. Sometimes, if we don't have mind renewal, uh uh a lot of times uh the enemy will keep us from benefiting from the things of God. And so God wanted in our mind. In other words, God is an internal or the word, God, the Holy Spirit, they are internally working on the inside of me. In other words, if I get internal change, I will get external change. Right? If I get in, if I change my internal environment, I will get a change of my external environment, right? And sometimes it goes by where we're trying to change things externally, but nothing has changed really internally on the inside. So we go through the process in the wrong way, in the wrong way, and then we wonder why I ain't getting nothing, why it ain't happening like the Bible said. I have to ask myself, what what level of eternal change that I have? What level of eternal transformation is existing on the inside of me? Because everything I do externally is temporary, and so I when I do it internally, it becomes permanent on the inside of me. So he says that be ye uh by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove that what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God. So, how am I gonna prove it? He tells me the way to do it here. So I may prove. So, how do I prove it by renewing my mind? If I don't renew my mind, then I really can't prove that what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Because this is this is a spiritual concept, it's a spiritual insight that God has given that if I want to follow God, then I it's necessary that I'll need to renew my mind. I will need the the to kick out some ideas, to bring in some ideas and concepts, uh, perfect will of God. And that's what I want to arrive at is the perfect will of God. Those things that are good, those things that are acceptable. This is a learning kind of stage process, you know. It's good that you don't, it's good that you accepted Christ. It's acceptable when you start reading the word and getting knowledge and then beginning to process it. But it becomes perfect when you learn how to walk in that that you've gained. So when we say good, acceptable, and perfect will of God, then a lot of that I need to know what's the will of God in it. Right? And so he tells us in the scripture, he says, to study, to show thyself approved, a work, a workman not to be ashamed. He says, being able to rightly divide the word of truth. And so when I'm dealing with the renewed mind, I can I can look at my mind and I can say, uh, uh, you know, this is the only part of me he tells me to renew. Well, you have a body, but he don't say renew that, but he understands that if I renew my mind, my body will fall into line. My body, my body will fall right, everything else will fall into line as my mind is being renewed. The mind is the gatekeeper of your life, of my life, right? It's the gatekeeper of my life. That means that uh of the processes of the of the even the Holy Spirit working in me works through my mind. The saying of the word works through what works through my mind, right? I'm trying to think if I want to I want to say this. But it's it's it's way back when I was in the world, y'all. This is this is over this is over 42 years ago, right now. Over 42 years ago. It's over 42. Y'all just somebody said 42 years ago.

I ain't gonna say it. Let me say, let me say this. Uh maybe I'll say it this way, and then y'all can just fix it in there how you want to. Once you get a person's mind, you got them. That's enough right there, Past. That's enough right there. Y'all read in there however you want to. But once you get a person's mind, you've got them. That's what God understands. Once my mind is renewed in him, am I going nowhere? See? I'm I'm going nowhere. Because he understands the renewing of the mind is gonna change the whole way I view things. And things I thought I couldn't do, now I I can I can I'm able to do them. Things I thought I couldn't have, now I'll be able to have. And I'll be able to have them without all of the toil and the stress and and and whatever it might take, because now my mind is new in Christ Jesus. When I renew my mind, I can keep my body well, according to the scripture. When I renew my mind, I can keep my finances increasing. Because my mind is renewed in the process of God. And I and I understand his the kingdom of God's culture in these different areas. And that's why he talks about knowledge, knowledge. Get the knowledge, right? And then in scripture, he puts knowledge and wisdom together on so many occasions. Right? He puts them, he puts them, why does he put them together? Because knowledge is necessary. You cannot release faith until you know the will of God. So without, if you don't know the will of God, you can't release faith for something. Because why? I don't know the will of God. So faith is not released until I know the will of God, and what how the will of God, or at least let me just start right there. I know the will of God. And so, how do I get faith? Faith comes by hearing, and hearing, and hearing, and hearing, and hearing, and hearing, and hearing, and hearing, ing, not here, and hearing, ing on the end, and hearing the word of God. And that's why the devil will fight you so much about reading your Bible. Because he don't want you to keep on hearing. Because if you don't know the will of God, you might take something the fellow said on TikTok. And he just might be, she, he, she might be wrong as they could be. But the enemy calls you to hear it because there was something in you that felt like what he was saying, and when you heard it, you said, Oh, yeah, that's right. You have to be careful about what's in you because the enemy will always try to position you to hear something that's gonna add to something that's wrong already in you. Easy, Jesse. He'll position you, he'll bring somebody across your path. I know how. All right, y'all get it. I'm gonna labor that too much longer. All right. So then and being in renewed uh in your mind. So uh uh, and so we we operate. And so the mind has to be renewed. It has to be. It's not a it's not a well, I'm gonna try. It has to be renewed. What the mind wills, in many cases, occasions, if not stop, what the mind wills, will take place. The children of Israel, they say it on many, many occasions. We're gonna die out here in the wilderness. We're gonna die out here in the wilderness. Then there came a time when their death was announced, and they died. About 1.3 billion people over a period of 40 years died in the wilderness because of what they said and what they believed. So you have to watch what gets up there in your mind, because you start talking death and defeat, and death and defeat will show up. So you have to watch what gets up in there. And and for most of us, when we got saved, uh, it was necessary that we had to root that stuff out and get the word in. Right? And once we begin to get the word in, our vision changes of what we see, of even of what we believe God can do. I won't do that for me. And then you get in this word and you start believing, yes, he will. He'll do it for me. He done it for them, he'll do it for me. If he done it for them, he'll do it for me. Amen. And so uh uh the mind must be renewed to function. Ah, this is powerful right here. Write this down. The mind must be renewed in order to function in the spirit of God correctly. It must be renewed. That mind must be renewed in order to function and in the spirit of God. You need this, you need the spirit of God or the word of God working in your mind. So when some of that stuff hit your mind, some stuff hit our mind, you know, we say, but it's still stuff coming to our mind. Right? And when and when you have the spirit of God working in your mind, right? The spirit of God, that stuff comes in, the spirit of God just put it out. Right? But when you don't have nothing up there, you got fleshly and worldly stuff, and it comes in, you don't even have a have a notion of possibly what to do with that. Can I do it? Is that right? Right? And so we need our minds renewed. The mind really consists of the will, uh, the intellect, and the imagination. All of those are tied in things. They say that the mind uh is probably the most powerful uh uh system, uh, even though they got all these computers, but the mind is is the most powerful because the mind in itself, computers normally have to be downloaded into. They got different ways of doing things right now. But the mind, the eye can see, the nose can smell, the ears can hear, and and and the mind takes all of that stuff and formulates into a level of something that we most of the time can understand or we can figure out. So it does the mind does this, this way God created it, right? God create God created it, so when you look at something, God created Adam and uh took Adam, put Adam to sleep, and pulled the woman out of him. And uh when when Adam saw Eve, he said, Whoa, man. Y'all look slow on that, but y'all got it. He said, Whoa, man. Yeah, because God through his mind, he said, Whoa, whoa, whoa, what woman? Yeah, all right, all right, so that that and that's the mind, and God didn't have to tell Adam that that was a woman, his mind just put it together from being connected with God that that's a woman, and so Adam called her that in the second chapter, but he he named her Eve after the fall in the third chapter. So you're you're you're you're I don't want to labor there too long, but you I think you you follow me. Uh so that's that's the power of your mind. And so if you if you if I'm wondering why things might be happening the same way, same mat same way, but I have to ask myself, have I any made have I made any changes in my mind? Because what you believe has the potential to come to pass, whether it's good or whether it's not good, what you believe in your mind, and you have to be able to determine what you believe. Glory to God, amen. Because if you don't, you'll keep getting the same thing, and and most people what they do, they blame it on God. I pray, God, what would you pray? Because there's a system of prayer in scripture of when you pray, how you pray. First of all, when he says, when you pray, he said, Do what? Believe. And you fell on, and and most times people think crying and and and and land rolling across the floor and using a whole box of Kleenex and and getting emotional, they think that moved God. So you think you done prayed. Excuse me, y'all. I'm sorry. I'd be kicking over something there. And you think you done prayed because you done cried, you done got emotional, you done used up some napkins, your heart, your heart rate done went up, and you think you done prayed. He gave one component of winning individual praise, what should happen in order for that prayer to come to pass? He said, believe. Believe that you receive. And so if you just did all that, and you can do all that, but you better get some belief in there, or else there is really no true expectation that God will move on the situation. Glory to God. We're walking in faith, y'all. We're gonna get on over in there, and we're gonna process, and then we're gonna move uh move. Glory to God. Let's look at James 1, 5 and 8. James 1, the first chapter, 5 and 8, verses 5 through 8. Amen. He says here, if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that give it to all men liberally and upbraid it not, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, right? So when he asks for this wisdom, for God to give, God, show me how to, God, I can't figure out how to do this thing. Show me how to do it. He says, He says, but let him ask in what? In faith. He says, so let him ask in faith. Faith means you believe. Then he said, nothing wavering, nothing wavering. So it's impossible to believe something and nothing wavering. If it wasn't possible, then he wouldn't have it here. He says, nothing wavering. Right? Oh, glory to God. He says, he says, nothing wavering. That means that uh uh I believe, and then then then uh uh you can you can understand that as we study and as we read the Bible, we believe in the Bible, we can we can also understand and believe that uh uh doubt and unbelief is curable. We all have some doubt and unbelief. But the same the doubt and unbelief I had 10 years ago on hell today, meaning that it's curable, right? Sometimes I have to look at what I don't believe, especially about the Bible. Do I really believe that? Right? That means if I don't really believe it, there's a reason why I don't believe it, but even though I have a reason, it still produces unbelief. And unbelief in doubt is curable. That means I can be healed from it. Glory to God. If I'm willing to take the steps to be healed from it, right? I can be healed from it. Doubt and unbelief is curable. He says, nothing waving, for he that wavers is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed. Okay, and tossed, he that waving, waving mean I'm I'm good over here one day and the next day, boy. I'm some I'm I'm trying to. All right. But faith says, I stand no matter how the wind or the waves blow. Okay, verse number seven, please. All right, but let not that man think he's telling you here in scripture, telling me here. Us here in scripture, he said, for let that man think he shall receive. Let not, for let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. It gets kind of tight, don't it? He said, Let that man think, let that woman think. This is this is what we're talking about, man. This man covers the man and the woman. Right? This man does. Right? And so when we go back to Genesis, let's just go back, and he said he made uh man both male and female, so uh both with the uh with the spirit of God. So man, man is a uh a spiritual being a spiritual being being created in the likeness and image of God, giving authority and a power to rule and to reign on the earth. Huh? He said, for let that and so and so sometimes it don't happen, and people are out of this verse, uh verse six and seven process, and then when it don't happen, we upset with God. But you're out of the process. You out of what the scripture says. And so he says, if you don't, if you can't, if you don't say it in faith and believe it, and that's a working process, and God measures between that, I believe. But he says, Well, don't let him think that he's gonna receive anything from the Lord. All right, verse number eight. We're getting ready to wind up here, y'all. He says, now a double-minded man is what? Unstable in all his ways. He just said just some of his ways, but double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways. Uh, double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Double-minded man is one who tries to live in two worlds. He wants to live in the world of the unsaved, and he wants to live in the world of the saved. He wants to follow the uh uh uh principles of this thing, then he wants to come over here and try to do this thing. Double-mindedness, right? So, double-minded man is one who tries to live in both worlds, believing that he can benefit from both. And what happens when you try to live in both of them, you don't benefit from both of them. You might benefit from one, or you might not really benefit from either one of them. So that means the mind, you remember the scripture talks about over uh in the gospels, he talks about man, the eye, man having a single eye. Right? Singleness of eyes, singleness of look, singleness of vision. He said he has a single, he's not, he's not double-minded, right? He's not saying something one day and did something else that opposes what he said the day before, the next day he's saying something different. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. A double-minded man doesn't change the way they function and operate just because the situation changed. A double mind, uh, uh, uh, a mind that uh uh that's a a man that's standing on the word of God does not change because an external situation changed. Right? I went to the doctor and they saw a lump and I went and I and I was believing God and I went back and the doctor said, Well, maybe it looks like it's getting a little bigger. Then I changed my mind. Maybe God ain't gonna heal me. That's double-mindedness in any situation and in any circumstances. So I have to be stable in my thinking so that I want to be singliness of mind. So when I see what the word of God says, I stand on that word even though it don't appear, or even though nothing really lines up with what I'm believing. Right? Nothing really lines up. Once I change and decide, uh, well, it ain't gonna happen, that's double-mindedness. I didn't lean in on God enough. And so I have to learn how to do that because once I learn how to do that, then I can stand and then I can see manifestations uh come to pass. So he said, double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Double-mindedness, you say you're gonna do something, and then you you don't, you then you change your mind, and then especially when you don't tell the person that you said you were gonna do it for you just you just go on and act like you never said nothing. That's double-mindedness, but it's also a lack of integrity. What it says to me or what it says to you, I have no trust in my word. Because I'll just say anything, I'll tell you what you want to hear and won't mean none of it. And then what happens? That's a benefit to you, but now what that what what happens in your soul? What that tells your soul is that your words don't mean nothing, and then when it comes time for you to need your words to mean something, they ain't gonna be mean nothing because you have trained your soul. God, glory to God. I'll help somebody here this morning if I don't help nobody but myself. Glory to God, and says a double-minded man, he's unstable in all his ways, uh uh benefit. And so, what we have to do is we have to come on in, all right? All of us are in. All of us can get in further, huh? Huh? So if you already in, get in a little bit further. Get in a little bit further, get in a little bit further, keep working at it, and God will bring you on in there, but you gotta keep working at it. You can't quit. I'm quitting. Every time you quit, you gotta start over. Especially if things of God. Every time you quit, you gotta start over, or at least you gotta go back to where you stopped there. Right? And now you gotta build again, right? So so when we get in this thing and we see roadblocks or we see things that happen, we want to keep our mind uh regulated and renewed on the word of God so that we can stand in the midst of adversity. And we don't let our mouth fly off the fly off the hook. We don't let our don't let our temper get the best of us. Yeah, you can repent, but there might be some damage you've done. Glory to God. Hallelujah. All right, let's look at uh Romans 5, Romans 8, 5 through 7. We're moving, we're moving along here. All right, Romans 8. All right, for they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the spirit, the things of the spirit. Now, I know we probably understand this, I know we probably understand this, but no matter what information that I receive, that information is coming from one or two sources, or coming from one of two sources. It either coming from Satan's source or it's coming from God's source, and so that's why he says, For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh. That means that's uh that's in when I function in the flesh, that gives Satan access to me. Yes. When I function in the flesh, that gives access. That gives Satan access to me. That gives him a route now into my life. He can use it because it belongs to him. But they that are after the after the spirit, uh, but they that are after the spirit, the things of the spirit. That means when I lean to the spirit, I give the working of spiritual forces, God and the Holy Spirit access to my situation. Just like when I work in the flesh, I give Satan access to my situation. He said, for they that are after the flesh, do mind the things. I mean, it means that their ideas, all their ideas, all their concepts are set on the flesh. Something benefiting the flesh, something fleshly, something worldly. And he said about sometimes in the church today, we've allowed we've allowed that same mindset to come into the church. But he said they do mind the thing. This means that they they they kind of study it and they kind of watch it. I'm gonna study folk and I'm gonna watch how they maneuver, and then that's when I'm gonna be able to get in and get them to do what I want them to do. Mind the things of the flesh. But they that are after the sphere the spirit, the things of the spirit. We mind the things of the spirit, we pay attention to what the word of God says. We pay attention if I gotta make a move. Do I want to get some input on this move from the Holy Spirit? We we stay governed or we stay grounded until we hear him give us a direction. We don't get overwhelmed and get outside of outside of uh outside of patience and and we wait till he moves and he does something. Because why? The word of God, how has first place in my life. And when the word of God has first place in my life, guess what? I mind the things of the spirit, right? And so I'm always looking, always looking at the things of the spirit. God is that something? Okay, all right. I don't know about that, Lord. Lord, I'm gonna have to God help me on this one. See, always get God involved. Fleshly minded people don't want to get God involved because fleshly minded people are set on themselves, their focus on themselves. Fleshly minded, and there's a there's a there's a major difference. All right, let's go to the next one. For to be cornerly minded is death. Cornly mind, that word comes off of the word uh cornivis, but he said to be cornerly minded is death, right? He's he's telling you we we're gonna get through, but he's telling you these things of the mind where he says the cornerly minded is death, but the spiritually minded is life and peace. Verse next, glory to God. Yes, yes, yes, it's life and peace. And and nowadays, so many people are looking for peace. How am I gonna maneuver through all of this stuff that's going on in the world? This look like it's doing this, this look like it's doing that. Pound of ground beef, almost ten dollars. How am I gonna maneuver? Because my finances telling me I can't. But spiritually minded, the spiritually minded say, Oh, that's all right, God will meet my need. I'm gonna fill up my tank every time I go to the park, because God's gonna meet my need. He's obligated to meet my need. Glory to God. If I want some, if I want a pack of ground beef, I'm gonna go buy it. I don't care what it costs, because he's gonna meet my need, because I'm spiritually minded. I'm cause that means I'm not dependent on myself to bring it to pass, I'm dependent on him. Huh? I still frown when I go to that pump though. But I'm not dependent on me. I was at the pump the other day. I told the guy, boy, they're starting to like this stuff again. Right? Right? But we're dependent on God. See, my source is our source as a believer, as a spiritual believer, is in God. And you got you got believers that are hanging on, that, that, that are hanging on to uh uh uh things of the world, and they're hanging on, they're trying to hang on to things of God. Double-mindedness, right? And you have to you have to be, you have to, you don't have to come out of it overnight, but you need to make a goal. Wherever I am, I have identified myself to be. Yeah, I do, I do got a little bit more, probably more dependency on that job than I should have. Then what you do? Then you then you take the begin to take the steps to remove that dependency, to remove that source, right? And and while you still there, don't quit. Why you still there? You recognize, right? You say, God, you my source. Every time something comes to your mind, you say, uh, come to your mind, say, I don't know if you'll make you say, but Lord, you my source. That's the spiritually minded, right? The fleshly minded look to do some type of maneuver to get over on something or somebody. Easy, Jesse. All right. For the cunning minded is death, but the spiritually minded is life and peace. I got plenty of peace. I hope y'all got peace. I got I got plenty of peace. And and and nobody can nobody can pull the peace on you. You know what I'm saying? Nobody can put nobody can pull the peace on you. Right? You know, you gotta take the peace and get it in you because he is my peace. Verse number seven, let's move along. Oh, glory to God, hallelujah. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God. That means whenever I try to operate carnally with God, uh, it's not subject to God, but neither is God subject to it. Huh? Neither is God subject to it. He said, because the carnal mind, the carnal way of thinking, the old nature man, right, is enmity. Enmity means opposes or adversary to, right? Against God, for it is not subject. Subject means that in no way, shape, form, or fashion can it fit into what God wants to be done. I have to use another system. Glory to God. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Just uh in a in a few years, I think this October, uh, it it all of the uh this October, all of the Windows 10, right? They're gonna stop giving support for it. In many cases, they already have, but they're gonna stop giving support for Windows 10. So when you go and try to do something maybe on your computer, now you can see maybe the word and stuff like that, but especially online stuff, right? I believe it's in October, they're gonna stop, meaning that there's not gonna be any more support, meaning that that Windows 10 system is not gonna be subject to, has inability, cannot, not because it don't want to, just cannot meet the needs of Windows 11 and those other things they come in out and they are pacing them to Windows 11. So what God is saying here, or what the scripture is saying here, for it is not subject, it is incompatible to the law of God. So anytime I try to operate fleshly in the in and and and use God, he's saying that's incompatible. Subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. You can't make no modifications on it. There's no modifications you can make on it to make it compatible with the word of God. What you have to do? You have to renew the mind, you have to renew the mind to the things of God. Glory to God, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Glory to God. Number eight, hallelujah. Because the colonel mind, oh, that's myself. That's the one. Because the colonel mind is envy against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can be. Verse number eight. Oh, never mind, never mind. That's me. I'm thinking, I'm looking at Romans 8. So it can be. So he's telling me here, it's clear that the flesh person cannot operate. Not because don't want, not because you just don't want to, but it's not compatible. I got a truck. And uh on the truck there's 22s, but those 22s won't fit on that Cadillac. Incompatible. I can go through and make some serious modifications, but they're still incompatible. And the system that my my my uh flesh or nature system is not compatible. All right, all right, okay, let's go with our last verse for today, uh Romans 8 and 2. We're gonna try to finish up here. Romans 8 and 2. Y'all with me? Glory to God, hallelujah. Somebody say, I'm gonna make sure by the way of the Holy Spirit, my system is compatible to his hallelujah. Ah glory to God. We're gonna finish up here. He says, for the I think, I think, y'all excuse me. I think uh for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For the law of the you notice he uses the word law in his several several uh scriptures we've had, he's talking about law. So, you know, I I know uh when the first thing came back many years ago, 15, maybe 20 years ago, and uh and everybody talking about we we're not part of the law, we're not part of, we're not part of the law, and of course, we're not a part of the uh Mosaic ceremonial law, we're not a part of that. Everybody said, I'm not in the law, I'm not in the law, but yeah, you lost, you lost that law, but you gained this law, right? And so he said, for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus had made me free from the law of sin and death. That means I operate in the law, I renew my mind to the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. That's what I renew my mind to, that's my goal, to renew my mind to the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Because why? If I don't still uh the law, Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. If I don't renew my mind, I'm still free from the law of sin and death. I just won't get the benefits of it. Right? So then I operate this law. I said, I say I'm I'm free from the law of sin and death in Christ because He has made me free, right? Right? And I have to determine in my heart and in my mind that uh and go through the process, determine in my heart and mind that I don't want to take anything less. I won't take nothing less. The Lord bore something in me uh uh periods ago, and I think uh uh a few months ago, maybe early early this year, I was thinking on something and the and the uh and uh about something. I forget what I was thinking about, but I remember what he said. Uh he said to me, he said, son, all your days are good days. See, as believers, all of our days are good days. Some days come with some some blips, some bumps, some struggles, some challenges, some of this, some of that, but all of my days are good days. Right? Why are they good days? They're good days because I have Christ, they're good days because I have renewed my mind to some degree to his system. So all of my days are good days. They just come with some unwanted stuff every now and then. All of them are good days. Right? Right? Because when God said what he said, he said, everything I looked and I made. He said all of it was good. And he made the day. And when he made the day, he made it good. Glory to God. Huh? So all my days are good days. So you you walk around determining by your day sizing it up. Well, I didn't have a good day today. Yes, you did. If you're in Christ, you had a good day. Yes, you did. You just had something show up that was unwanted, baby. Well, it's a good day. Believers are what really believers are the ones that have bad days every day, even though they think it's a good day. Because if they fool around and die and not without Jesus, it's a bad day. I don't care how well your day went, I don't care how much money you had. Glory to God. Glory to God. A man without Christ is just a rich poor man. A man with money without Christ is just a rich poor man. And a believer, glory to God. Let me close the book. And a believer who has Christ has the ability now to achieve everything that God says because He has Christ. See, when my thinking changes, I'll say different, I'll act different, and I'll do different, and I have another level of expectation. I know the scripture says three-score man lived three score. But that's what he said to Israelites. That's not what he said for us. He said we'd do 120. That's what the scripture says. The believer, right? But the devil has the devil has convinced. And we say more about what the devil says because we got, excuse me, y'all, not none of y'all in here, but out there, we got more of it here about the devil than we do about God. And when our mind becomes renewed, we begin. We're gonna talk a little bit about imagination, but I ain't gonna talk about it today. But listen, you ought to take some time talk a little bit about it. But listen, you ought to take some time to sit back and dream. Say, God, what you got in store for me? Can you show me a piece of it? Can I get a little bit of it, Lord? I mean, I want I want to see it so I can know what work what. Oh, I don't know how this year's gonna be for me. Well, that's already a sign because you said that, you thinking it ain't gonna be good. Just from what you said, I don't know how this year's gonna be for me. You if it was gonna be, if you thought it was gonna be a good year, you say, Oh man, this is gonna be an awesome year for me. See, your language in your speech, my language in my speech tells me what's going on up here. Ah, glory to God. Glory to God. To God be the glory. Anybody excited about Jesus? Glory to God. I worked out on posts as ration guy, and sometime during these summer months, they would get sim, they get a semi-load of food, and we would see it, me and the guy, we would see it on the paper. And uh, I would look at him and I would say to him, Man, we better get our mind right. We got a whole lot of stuff coming in tomorrow. And so I say to you, work on getting that mind to where you need it to be. Because your mind real is gonna control the spirit, the spirit of God in you, as He as He downloads into your mind, it's gonna control what happens.
