SPEAKER_01This is the confidence that I have in him. That if I ask anything in his name, he hears me. And if he hears me, I know that I have the petition that I ask. According to you believe you have the petition that you ask? According to his will? Hallelujah. God is not working any dark forces against me. He don't have any dark forces to work against me. All of his ports, all of his forces bring me to light, to reverse, to revelation, and to the understanding and having wisdom in the knowledge and the revelation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Hallelujah. No matter what you need fixed, what I need fixed, what we need fixed, there is nothing within us that's unfixable. Come on, somebody. There's nothing in you that's unfixable. Because when Jesus paid the price, he paid the price to fix everything. Everything. I know it might have been bad. I know it might have been terrible. I know it might have caught you all God. Whatever it is. But there's nothing in me. My soul is rim, my flesh that's not fixable. Glory to God. And so when you have a revelation. And this is why we've been talking about the renewed mind because if when I can renew my mind, I ain't gonna say if you renew it, I'm gonna say when you can renew it. When your mind's being renewed, you begin to see stuff different. You begin to, you be, you don't, you don't, how can I say you don't mistarget. What I mean by that? You know what to target. Janet was talking there. Some sometimes we're targeting the devil, and the reason why we don't get any any any results sometimes is because we're targeting the wrong entity. We should be targeting ourselves. Because Jesus has already defeated him, he's been defeated. And then Jesus lives in where? In us, in me. Hallelujah. And I begin to disconnect myself from my natural way of functioning and operating and connect myself to his spiritual way and to his place where he says I'm seated with him in heavenly places, which makes my spiritual reality now is rising up. When the spiritual reality begins to rise up, the flesh side gets nerves. See, that's why you that's why sometimes you can have issues. That's why sometimes people come to church and they get some spiritual enlightenment. And when they when they leave church, stuff happens. Because the flesh now realizes he's been challenged. And he don't want you to walk in the thing that God has spoken said to you. So he challenged the flesh, challenges you. And glory to God. I'm getting this over the scripture. And then what happens is you do something wrong. And the enemy says, see what you got wasn't nothing. And you buy and we buy into it. Not knowing that this flesh was challenging us because he don't want to be overthrown. He's been ruling ever since you were born. And ever since the fall, he's been ruling. You gotta understand. That's why the Bible lets us know that I'm not ignorant of Satan's devices. Right? I'm not ignorant of He said his strategies, his ways of operation, his cunning system by which he comes in to deceive. Uh-huh. So people walk away, they say, I still got this habit. All of us have some habits when we got saved. Some of us still got some. But your habit doesn't disqualify your salvation. Huh? Just like your righteous doing didn't make you right. Your unrighteous, your unrighteous doing didn't make you righteous. You you once you're righteous, you're righteous. And an unrighteous act don't define you. Glory to God. I went too far in my message already. Let me glory to God. All right. I got a little bit of time. Oh, I'm trying not to use it all, y'all. Amen. Glory to God. All right. So we've been talking about a renewed mind because I believe the renewed mind is what is holding, uh, if we're being held back, I don't believe it's the devil that's holding you back. I don't believe it's the devil that's holding me back. I don't believe it's the devil that's holding us back. When I look in the scripture, um I see that in the orchestration or in the operation of what God asks the believer to do is to renew the mind. Paul, he gets into this renewing the mind process when he begins to teach about who we are and what we are in Christ Jesus and what we have in Christ Jesus. Right? And if I have if I don't renew my mind to the things of the world, I'd be in the church still operating like the things of the world. I'll be in the church and I'll still have the same problems that I had when I was in the world. I'll be in the church. I'll I'll still think the way that I think when I was in the world. When that means you just you just came into the church and yeah, you don't you're on your way to heaven, but you're every believer is supposed to come to a point where they are a benefit to the kingdom, right? That means you go out and you minister the word of God, you minister the power of God because now you are a benefit. Glory to God. Okay. And so it's necessary to get our minds renewed. Last week we spent uh uh much time on 1 Corinthians, the second chapter 9, 16, talking about we have the mind of Christ, we already have it. And sometimes I wonder, I said, well, if I if I have it, why ain't it working for me? If I have this mind, because having the mind is not automatic. The really the only thing that's automatic in in when we come into Christ is our confession of Christ. That happened instantaneally, automatic when I do what the scripture says. I confess with my mouth and I believe in my heart. That's automatic. But when you go past that, everything else I have to renew myself to. That's why he says, study to show thyself approval, workmen not to be ashamed, being able to rightly divide the church, rightly divide the word of God. Right? And so he says, That's a study. Study, why? Because study gives me information. Information gives me knowledge. Knowledge causes me now to understand how something works in the also in the spiritual realm. But the right knowledge and data and information, that information brings me into the wisdom of God. Because once I get knowledge, I can't just jump out, I got this knowledge. I need to get the wisdom of God on it. Now, the wisdom of God is working all along in it because much of God's word works together. But people try to separate it, can't separate, it works together. And so uh that's why the fella said, Hosea said, My people they perish for a lack of what? Knowledge. So some people come to church. Well too, I just won't go to church. Uh I don't want to, I don't want to learn nothing, I just want to go. That's where the little girl. Girl said, devil gonna whoop your head. Why? Why? He said they perish. The perish means to descend from where you're supposed to be or where you're at. That's what perishing is. I am descending, I'm here. Perishing means I'm the children of Israel, they descended, they perished from where they were with God and start descending. God had put them in a place, all they had to do was follow. But they said, no, God, uh-uh. We ain't gonna do what you say. And they chose a king, and then from that king's perspective, after a little while, the effects, after a little while, the effects of what you choose, if they're not godly, will show, will start showing descent of your life. When they picked Saul, it wasn't it wasn't uh, it it they didn't see it at first, but eventually what God said would happen begin to happen. Because God said you should have chosen me. Oh, Holy Spirit, help me here. Glory to God. So that's what perishing is it's descending. They're perishing. Don't happen all at once, it happens a little bit at a time. And you wake up two years later, and you're trying to figure out how did I get here? Because two and a half years ago, you made a decision. And that decision you made, I made, we made, it worked for us for a while. But then it got to a point where it started had to start degrading. Because it couldn't increase because of the of the consequences of the decision. Y'all get that. That's why he said sin is pleasurable for a season. But after a while, it's gonna become unpleasurable, and the consequences of what I did right here might not show up until two years later. Oh, glory to God. You see, so the fella said, the fella said, I bumped my head, I hit my head two weeks ago, but it stopped hurting, and I'm alright. But then he had some problems, started having problems a week later, went to the doctor, and the doctor said, Well, you you kind of bleed and got a little bleeding going on on the brain there. But it was ten days ago when he bumped his head, and he felt like it was alright. But the repercussions, just because, whoo, glory, just because you've all emotional driven up, that is the right decision, don't make it the right decision. Just because you felt like it was all right, don't make it right. Just because I felt like it's all right, let me get myself in there too. That's because I felt like it's all right, don't make it right. But the repercussions show up down the line. Renewing of the mind, the a greater portion of renewing of the mind is to prevent wrong decisions from taking place and happening so that I don't have negative consequences down the road. Now, I don't mean I got a negative consequence that it can't be fixed. Amen. So don't hear, don't, don't hear that because I ain't saying that. It could be fixed. But the right, see, the right decision would have corrected it back there, and you can be further ahead in Christ Jesus, but now you got to deal with this. Renewing of the mind. And so we talked about that. True change or transformation does not take place until the word of God has been deposited permanently. When we take the word of God, so renewing of the mind, we have to say, or you have to say, at least think this word is permanent place in my heart. This is where I'm gonna operate this can this in these situations and under these conditions. All right. So true change of transformation does not take place until the word of God has been deposited permanently in the heart or the innermost being of man. The head needs to know it, but it takes the heart to grow it. The head needs to know it because it comes by way of understanding knowledge through your mind. See, your mind works both really on both sides. It works on the natural side and it works on the spiritual side, but it orchestrates things based off of the dominancy that you have given something. Right? What's more dominant, right? Are my feelings more dominant in my life? And I'm led by them. Are they more dominant? Then you get the result of feelings. Whatever that comes, whatever consequences can be good. When I say consequences, you can get good consequences, you can get good consequences also, right? That's what we get with, if we want to call those consequences that we get with working with the Spirit of God, right? So we say the head, the head needs to know it means that it has to be processed, it has to come in, but the Bible says that we have to cast down stuff, right? Cast down every imagination, but it takes the innermost being of man to grow it, or that's where faith is released in the heart, in the innermost being of a person. And my goal is to get it in the heart. So you gotta understand that that you are you are the you are the the the tiller of your ground. You keep the ground prepared for the seed to grow and produce what it needs to grow, right? I I know some of us believe the sovereign God that if God wanted me to have it, he'll give it to me. No, he won't. That ain't nowhere in scripture. If he wanted me to quit doing this, he'll just stop me from doing nowhere in scripture. If it he'll show me, and I'll I'll stand up and say I was wrong. Ain't nowhere in scripture, Lord. Take it from me. No, no, no, no, no. The Lord says, take the word of God. Even while why I'm messing up, I can I can be quoting the word of God. I can quote the word of God. I'm trying to think, think of something that uh uh uh but anyway, I can quote the word of God, right? I can I can quote the word of God while I'm in the midst of it. Lord, Lord, you know I I I know I'm right. I can quote the word of God. What's the purpose? Every time I say it, I'm so it. Every time I say it, I'm so it. Even though my action, my actions might be wrong at the time, I'm so it. Right? Lady smoking, uh, uh a lady gives a testimony. I'm smoking a cigarette. She said, Well, sometimes somebody told me that uh uh I actually a pastor told her, said, he said, Well, don't worry about smoking a cigarette. Just begin to declare who you are. And she said, Well, what do you mean by that? He said, Yeah, well, just begin to when you smoke cigarettes, say you're righteous. Taking a simple drink, just say you're right. Whatever you say, what whatever it is, just say, just say you're righteous. You're trying, you're trying, you're transgender and you're about to dress up like a woman. Just say righteous. And she said she did that for six weeks. And she picked up a cigarette to go to smoke it one day, and she looked at the cigarette and said, I don't need that. I'm righteous. See, we try to, we we won't do, we don't, sometimes we instead of just taking the instruction of the word, because first of all, we're embarrassed about the thing we got going on. Right? We're embarrassed. Right? Y'all been embarrassed before? See, see, we're embarrassing. And say, oh glory to God, Lord, why I'm here. And and Satan knows that. See? And he takes that, and with my within my own feelings and my own emotions, he just work it in. And the enemy, what he does is he has me believing. You heard people say this? Well, I'm just this way. Have you heard people say that? Well, I'm just this way. I don't I don't know. And they might even throw my mama was like this, my daddy was like this. So, so, and then we calculate it up to it's a generational curse. But if I do the same thing my parents done and it wasn't right, excuse me, y'all, and it wasn't right, and if I do the same thing they did, guess what happens to me? I get the same result. Right? I'm doing the same thing, I'll get the same result. That's the way uh a seed produces after its own kind. So if I do the same thing they did, then why am I expecting a different result? The same thing they did was right, and I do the same thing they did, and they got right results. Guess what I'm gonna get? Right results. Because a seed produces only after only ain't no need of planting an apple and thinking you're gonna get some grapes. Tell me, I'm going out here to this grapevine and you done plant an apple seed. You ain't getting no grapes. You're gonna get some apples. You with me? Y'all following me? Right? So a seed will always be, and that's what we have going on. And when when we don't understand this process, this is what the scripture says that uh hope deferred. Uh-huh. Y'all heard the scripture, right? Does what makes the heart sick. So now, because I'm in this process of doing something that I believe is right, and sometimes we go to the pool and limit and say, I've done everything I can. Yeah, but it's all been wrong. None of it had the ability to change anything. I've done everything I could about this situation. It ain't none change. Well, some things do take time. So one encounter. Sometimes, sometimes you're doing the right thing, and we're doing the right thing, and sometimes it does take time to change. Right? So I had to be prepared for that. But I'd also need to do an inventory that I need to make a little adjustment. Sometimes the little adjustment is just don't say that. Don't say that. You try you trying to bring them in, you're trying to win them in, you trying to blah blah blah, you trying to bring them. Sometimes it's difficult for uh family members, depending on the situation. Sometimes it's difficult for family members to win their own. If you didn't win them when they was at the house, might have won them at the house when they got out and turned around. But right now, your best thing is to pray that somebody else crossed their path and then just live. That's your best thing to do. Now the Lord gives you something to say, of course. Right. We're going about your bitch. And I started working that. And I know, I know they expect me to say something. But I just say, okay. Alright. Okay. Alright. Because from my perspective, you already, you already won. You already won. So we're not going. Well, I don't know why. Okay, y'all follow me. Right? So we have to, one of the key things that we have to understand is how our enemy strategy works. And we think it's all just by. But the enemy has been using the same system in our flesh. And I don't think all the time, I think a lot of times the seed that got sown, and once the seed gets sown, he just goes away. And let the seed do it work. Somebody comes along and waters that seed. You water that seed. He's somewhere else. Because he has sown it in the flesh. And he might come every now and then to check on it, right? But now what he's sown in me, if it's not uprooted and taken out, it will continually grow or develop in me. Because the flesh is set forth to grow what's ever put in it. And so how do I grow it? Glory to God. I grow it by what I listen to. I grow it by what I hear. And one of the most important ways it grows is by my life experiences. So I look back and say, that happened to mama. I remember this happening to mama. I remember this happening to dad. And not understanding that what you what you're saying, you're just agreeing with an incorruptible seed that's functioning, and you're just causing it to grow and get stronger and stronger. That's why he said, My people, they perish, they degenerate. You know why he calls says that we have the victory? Because he's already won it, and we can have every victory too if we use his word. If we renew, we renew our we renew our minds. How y'all doing out there? Huh? Huh? See, the word is not a failing word. It's not a failing word. It's not a failing word. I have to get out of my mind and out of my heart, out of my ideas. Well, is it gonna work for me? God says, I don't I don't have no respect of person. I don't have any. If you would apply this word, this word will do just what I said it would do. Matter of fact, it would do more. But application is important. Right? That you that we apply the word of God. All right. Let me take about 15 more minutes. I shouldn't have said that. Should I say it, Holy Spirit? Glory to God. All right, all right. Well, I guess, uh, glory to God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Glory, glory, glory, hallelujah, glory to God. Okay, all right. So, true change and transformation does not take place until the word of God has been deposited permanently into the heart or into the innermost being of man. The head needs to know it, but it takes the heart to grow it. When I say it takes the heart to grow it, it takes the heart for you to walk in eternally. Because everything that's head, head changes. That's why it needs to get in the heart. All right. Uh for the word to be to, for the word to renew the mind, there must be uh a higher focus or a singleness of focus. Uh let's look at Luke 11, 33 through 34. Luke 11, 33 through 34. We can get those up on the screen, please. Uh, glory to God. The Bible says, No man, when he has lighted a candle, putting it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. So he's talking about light here. That that single light brings a light to the entire house. Next scripture, verse 34. The light of the body is the eye, right? The light causes eye to see. Uh way back when hadn't done it so so much lately. But one of the things, especially in ministering, uh and casting out devils and doing things like this, one of the things that I do is get up close and look in the eye. Because I want to see what's looking back at me. When I see what's looking back at me, I can see the Holy Spirit can tell that's not them. That's something else. From that standpoint, now I know how to deal with what I'm dealing with. Because the scripture says the light of the body is eye. Now, sometimes you don't have to look in the eye. Because you can tell by the hating. Right. You can tell by the hate. Right. But then there are times when that's necessary. Take the time to look, see what's going on. But he says the light of the eye is the body, the light of the body is the eye. Therefore, when thy eye is single, single means there's one level of focus. One level of focus. There's not six different ways of focus, there's one permanent focus by which everything that I'm dealing in with in my life comes through this lens. You you follow me? It's gotta come here, right? It's gotta pass this test right here for it to get in. If you don't pass this test of spiritual insight and biblical soundness, it can't get in. Because this singleness, uh, this eye is single, says you don't fit the criteria. There were 62 men that canonized the Bible over a period of time. Right? There were other books back in that time, some of them called apocalyptic books, and all the books, and the most famous one you probably hear about is the book of Enoch. But when these 62 men in the Bible say all of the word of God is inspired by God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, when these other books were looked at, they did not meet the biblical criteria that these inspired men of God said. So these books were not canonized with the Bible. Because they did not meet, I want to use these words, the litmus test. They did not show the consistent, uh, systemic line of what the word of God was putting out, and in love. So a lot of you might hear about, you know, you probably heard about them, these books, right? Right? And a lot of them that were written uh in these times. I mean, the Bible wasn't the only book written, there were other books ever written. There was other people that wrote books, right? But these were inspired. This scripture, this holy scripture was inspired by God and it was in it is in alignment with what God wanted to do in the earth. Right? If you ain't learned the Bible completely and totally, don't go looking at them. Right? Right? Because there is a level of seenness of I. And then people confuse. And then they mixing that with this, they mixing that with this, but us that believe the Bible in the renewed mind process, us that believe the Bible, we believe in singleness of I. Meaning that this word is the word that's in us, and this word will shine out of us, and it don't need any other help. It don't need any other help. You don't need any other help. You need some more enlightenment. The Bible says that if you get with Jesus and you stay with Jesus, that he'll give you wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of him, he'll do it by itself, and he don't need you to go to another book. Huh. And then you wonder why you can't praise God. You wonder why you can't believe the Bible. Because you have instituted within your system levels of unbelief or things that make you doubt this book. Glory to God. Easy, easy, Jesse. Glory to God. You have instituted other stuff. I have instituted other stuff. Now I have them. Y'all have it. Hopefully, you have them. And you're wondering why there's doubt and unbelief. But if I stay with this book right here, doubt and unbelief is curable. Because I can renew my mind with this book. And when this book renews my mind, everything else outside of it becomes incompatible. Glory to God. Ha! Glory to God. Everything else becomes incompatible, so I don't need nothing else. To try to confirm this book or disconfirm this book. This book is a book of the Lord. It's the book that Bob that God wrote to men about, not about men, but really about God and how God wants to deal with men. You see, and so the enemy's strategy is to produce so much doubt. Right? Because the enemy knows with doubt and unbelief in this, you ain't getting nothing. Now you are you drum up a crowd. You probably will drum up a crowd. You get some views, you get some lights. Oh, yeah, you will. You get them. Because they gonna they're gonna have the same problem that you have. I don't think the Bible is right. Glory to God. They got the same problem you have. They go on, they want to see something else because they don't. Glory to God. Get out of there, Jesse. Because they don't want to align themselves with this, so they go find something else. I'm trying to take it easy, y'all. Trying to take it easy as I can. Glory to God. But when the believer renews they renews their mind, they begin to see the benefits of this book. They begin to see the level of peace that they have, the level of joy that they have. Worry has been dispelled. Because why? This book is dependable and this book is reliable. The breath of renewed mind. Oh, glory to God. Can I finish reading that? Did I finish reading that scripture? Amen. Luke 11, uh 134. All right. He says, the light of the body is the eye. Therefore, when thy eye is single, the whole body also is full of light. You don't want to be missing, mixing darkness and light. Even though light will always show itself. But when thine eye is evil, thou bow thou thou body also is full of light. It's full of darkness. What is he saying there? He's saying that he's saying that your thinking will be different. There's a possibility you'll see a lot of stuff in a negative light, then on a positive light. Huh? You want to make things happen yourself instead of taking the word of God and allowing God to make something, allowing God to let something happen. Because there's darkness. Right? And darkness is always trying to do something that it does not have the ability to do. And that's how the flesh likes to operate. Glory to God. Amen. Hallelujah. How much time I got? Do I have five minutes? I got five minutes. Glory to God. Glory to God. All right. Singleness of eye. Having light and singleness of heart versus double vision or double-minded. Huh? We want to have singleness of eye. Singleness of heart. What does that mean? Does that mean I don't make a mistake? No, I don't mean that. Right? But it means my heart is set towards God. Right? And I might get off on something and mess something up. Don't mean that that won't happen, but it means that my heart is turned and bent towards God. And when I recognize that I messed up, the first thing I want to do is repent. Huh? Oh boy, I messed that up. Boy, I messed that up in front of a whole group of people. Repent. See, that's when your heart towards God. That was the thing about David. After all David did, the Bible said that he had a heart after God. Huh? Wait a minute, wait a minute, God. Let's talk about this. He slept with another man's wife. Got her pregnant? Found out that he was pregnant. Found out who the daddy was. So where he at? Well, he out in the battle. Well, David should have been. Well, he should have been. Well, he's standing up on the back of the Lala lane. Looking. Huh? Well, he should have been. Go get him out of there and bring him in. Take him to his wife, because he's expecting Uriah to go in and sleep with his wife. And then they can claim that it's his baby. But integrity said, I won't go out there and all these men on the battlefield, some of them losing their lives. I won't go out there and have fun with my wife. I'm gonna sleep behind the door, and in the morning I'm heading back to the battle. They come tell David, David, you know, he didn't go in. We watched him. He slept outside the door. I don't even think she knew he was there. Okay, all right, what's our next David? What's our next strategy? David said, what's the next? Okay, all right. Where's the body? Where's the battle the hottest at? Put him in the heat of the battle. Put him in the heat of the battle. And they put this young man in the heat of the battle and he lost his life. But the reason why the Bible decrees and declares that David is a man after God's heart is because it's when Nathan approached him with this situation and said, David, it's you. You the one. He fell into repentance. He didn't try to come up with a reason of why. He didn't try to come up with anything. And he repented. Now it's this situation, it still cost him consequences. But he repented towards God. But what darkness won't allow you to repent. Darkness will, darkness, dark, what darkness will do, darkness will say it's their fault. If they wouldn't have done what they did, I wouldn't have done what I did. And if they do it again, I'd do the same thing. That's what darkness says. Excuse me, y'all. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And he said, that's what darkness does. When you can't repent, or when you're struggling with repentance, now sometimes I know we struggle with repentance, but you got to get to the point where you repent, man. You got to get to the point where you repent and you let it go. Because as long as there's unrepentance, there's darkness. And sometimes that darkness is so great that God is unable to move. And you don't even realize that unforgiveness is keeping you from elevating and growing in faith towards God.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Y'all with me? Y'all still here? Glory to God. Glory to God. So he says here double vision or uh be double-minded. It is the goal of the Holy Spirit to make us incompatible with functioning with the system of this world. It's the goal of the Holy Spirit to make us incompatible with functioning in the way this system functions. That's the goal of the Holy Spirit. That's his goal. I know some of us might think the Holy Spirit is timid, and I can't say that's not true. But the Holy Spirit was given to us to function in a hostile environment. That's why he was given. Jesus had to function in a hostile environment. They got so hostile they killed him. He let them kill him. Glory to God. So the Holy Spirit that's on the inside of me, that's why he says, I'll never leave you, nor will I forsake you. I'll be with you always, even until the end of the age. Greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world. Why? Because the Holy Spirit is geared to function in a hostile world. A world that opposes him, a world that don't want to receive you. But Jesus said, But you know me. He said, But you know me. Ah, glory to God. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. It is the goal. Hallelujah. Some some get something, get the whining and get the crying and about something that went on, something happened. Somebody did something or said something to you, and you're feeling kind of bad. You say, Oh, Holy Spirit, oh no, no, no. I'm geared to operate in a hostile environment. I'm geared to operate in a hostile environment. That's why he gave it. Because the Holy Spirit in me, when I can rely on him and trust him, it's geared for me to operate in a hostile environment. Now he might say, the Holy Spirit might say, you know, as he has said, you know, sometimes to some of us, say, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, wait a minute. Pray for you know, he ain't gonna tell you go punch them. If you go punch them, you got in the flesh. Right? If you stab them deep along them, you got in the flesh. If you shoot them, you got in the flesh. If you call somebody on the phone and talk about them, you got in the flesh. Because now you're giving somebody else a vision of somebody that they don't even know. And now when they see them, they might have a problem with them. So that's what that's what he'll say. And your flesh is gonna fight against that. Huh? It gonna fight. Boy, you might glory to God. You might not call them no names out loud, but you'll call them all kind of names in your head. Work with it. Huh? Huh? See, we're operating in a system now where God says, if we operate in his system, we'll show love. We'll walk in love. Right? Right? We'll walk in the thing and we'll say those things that he has for us to say. And then God said, Oh, that's my child. That's my child. Well, they walked in love. And then folk might, some some folk, not everybody's gonna do it. They might come back and tell you and say whatever they have to say. And you say, okay, you say, I love it. I love it. I know I messed. I I did mess that up. And uh, I love it. You ought to go looking for people to ask for forgiveness. Until you can go looking for them. You haven't really embraced forgiveness yet. I did some about a week and a half ago. I wasn't really, wasn't really sure. And uh I got to the house and I went to think about it, and I said, you know what? I better go back over there. Yeah, I better go back over there. Got back over there. They said, Oh, it's no problem, they said no problem. No, they say, Oh, it's no problem, it's no problem. I said, Okay, I just wanted to make sure. I was like, you know, I want, I want to, uh what if if I'm I if I mess up, I'm I'm quick though. I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm I I used to say, Lord, if I see it. That's what I used to say. But I didn't group from that. I said, Lord, I'm gonna go to her. I'm gonna find because he said, if you have an art with him, you ought to go to it. Anybody working with me today? Huh? Huh? See, you grow in this thing. We talk about faith to faith, but faith are the principles of the gospel of the kingdom. So I grow in every aspect of these things. Because I ain't got forgiveness all the way down, but I knew I grew a little bit because now I look for them to apologize. But every time, you know, every time, my flesh still don't want to do it. You're waiting for your flesh to want to do it. Your flesh ain't gonna wanna ask nobody for forgiveness. You're gonna have to overrule that fella. We're governed here by the spirit and by the word of God, and I'm gonna overrule you. And we go on, and our flesh cut it out. You know that ain't gonna, you know that ain't gonna fly. I'm walking in the you can't just talk about the principles, you have to walk in. And sometimes we're good at talking. Boy, we can we can we can talk, hmm. We can talk good, but when it comes to application, we want to go in the closet and pray for an hour. No, ain't no need of praying. Go do what you need to do. Wanna go in the prayer closet and pray for an hour? Lord help me, show me out. No, yeah, no, go do what you're supposed to do. I'm gonna go pray about it if I'm if I'm supposed to go to her. No, you don't need to go, you don't need to go pray about nothing. You need to go and do it and tell your soul this what he's gonna do. Because the soul is your adversary in many scriptural things. Glory to God. So don't don't think they cause the pastor, don't think because I'm up here preaching. I got it all together. No, I don't. I have to go apologize sometime. Sometimes more than once. See, because I understand we should understand that God loves us and he always means the best for us. And what he requires for us to do, when it's necessary for something to be fixed, he requires for us to do it. Ain't no need to go and pray, he ain't gonna change his mind. He ain't gonna give you no no no no no special criteria. You ain't gonna get no special criteria. He just gonna sit and wait for you to. Well, I guess I better close. My goodness. You see what I'm saying? See, this thing is meant to be walked out. It's not meant for us just to come to church every Sunday and we leave here, and we by Tuesday we didn't fail back. We got built up by Tuesday, we didn't fail back into where we were, and then we come back next Sunday, and and and same thing happened, and we've we've created this, and so the devil don't mind you going to church. If there will be no application, he don't mind. If there'll be no no war, no battle, no fight that you would put up. You know, he don't mind. He don't mind. You don't he don't he don't mind at all. Whatever, whatever you left on the outside of that door, that this way people say whatever you left on the outside of that door is standing there waiting for you. You ought to tell it it ain't gonna wait, ain't no need to wait for it because it ain't gonna get nothing here. You ought to say it's done. Whatever waiting for it when you get back to the house, you ought to say that's done. Huh? You gotta lay down some rules and lay down the law, it's done. Ain't happening, ain't happening no more, ain't gonna be no more consistency like that in my life. Because why? My mind is being renewed in Christ Jesus, and when the mind is renewed, it shows applications that are being applied to the word. Glory to God. I didn't get full on paper, but I used up some time, didn't I? Glory to God. So the so the so the believer, the the believer uh is not to have double vision or be double-minded. The believer is supposed to have single a focus. I believe this is what the word says. And then there might not be some people that like you. There might be some people that come along and help you, and there might be some people that don't like you. There might be a period where it appears as though you're walking by yourself, but sometimes we need to learn to walk by ourselves because you don't need to be with people if they're gonna deter you from the word of God. You need to be by yourself. If you stay, if you can stay in the word better by yourself and with God by yourself, you you ought to be able to at some point come the way you can deal with people. I have to be careful. That's how I get in trouble. I have to be careful. But we need people, so we need community. But you don't need community that's pulling you away from God. You, you, you, you, you, you, easy, Jesse. You go with people and they do something you feel like that you have to do it too when you know that, you know, I shouldn't do this. I said I wasn't gonna do this anymore. You need to cut them loose. Cut them loose. You know, cut them loose until you can go and not violate what your principles are. What God's principles are. Right? Oh, we're gonna have fun. There's a lot of cursing, there's a lot of, there's a lot of all kind of stuff going on, and you up in there, spirit of God in you, grieving. You grieving. Spirit of God grieving. And you're trying to hang out just so you can hold on to a friendship. You gotta go home now. You gotta repent. You gotta you gotta you know, you gotta drink coffee, you gotta, you gotta drink hot water instead of putting coffee in it, cause you know, you try you, you know, you trying to work it, you know, you you trying to work it, you know. You know, you add on another hour of Bible study, another 45 minutes of prayer, cause you know, you trying to get yourself back in there. What you would call the goodness of God. You better cut it loose and let it go. Huh? Yeah. Better cut it loose and let it go. Huh? Now you you get ready to go minister somebody, and the first the first thing the devil throw up to you is, well, you remember what you did two days ago. Won't he? I know he'll do it. You better cut him loose with a sharp knife. Sever the sever the line. I don't mean you gotta be rude to him or anything like that. But if they drawing you away from this, easy Jesse. In closing, I had a had a friend of mine real quick. He liked to, I didn't know he liked to, but he liked to steal. I went into the store with him and we got out the car. We got back in the car and he was pulling some stuff out of his pants. Salime in the boom. I say, I say, man, what you doing? I say, you stole that. He looked at me. I say, that's it. That's it. I'm not going to jail from some salami and baloney. I cut it. I went to the store with him, and I come aware of what he was what he did, so I went to the store with him one more time. Now I'm aware that he has a tendency to steal. So I didn't walk in the store beside him. I walked in the store behind him. And uh he went in the store, and that was this guy that I saw, because the guy didn't connect us is coming in together. He was about 10 feet in front of me. Right? And so uh I went around and I saw this guy peeping around. I walked, I didn't go down the same aisle he went down, I went down another aisle. And I saw this guy, the aisle I turned down, the guy was on the other end of this aisle, and he was peeping around like this, looking at my friend on the other side. So I just casually walked around. Walked by my walked over by my friend. I said, Man, there's a guy around there corner. And uh, if you got anything, you better put it back. And I took off, I took off with a fast walk. I got out the door, I looked at him, I said, Man, that's it. We're done. Can't go to the store with you no more. I'm not finna go to the store. I'm not finna go to jail for six dollars. Hmm, you call you causing me to. I mean, I was I was uh I was uh I wasn't all the way saved in, I was kind of saved. If there's such a thing. Right, right? But I cut him loose. No man, we can't we can't do no. See, and you have to cut stuff loose, be willing to take the loss for the kingdom. Because in this book, even though salvation doesn't cost us anything, to live the life that this book calls for cost something.
