SPEAKER_02We've been talking about over the last uh three or four sessions, I believe. We've been talking about the renewed mind. Right? The renewed mind. And uh, and uh we we've covered a lot of things. Uh the carnal mind is enity uh against God. Uh renewing the mind requires for us to meditate on the word and to and to hear God's word, to take time out for God's word, and then uh also along with that to make God's word first place. In other words, God's word rules over everything. So in Romans 8, 5 through 7, he says that the kernel mind is enmity against God, and we read on in that scripture, he said that the kernel mind cannot receive anything from God, you know, and so today we wanna we want to start uh in this area, and we want to talk about as a part of the renewing of mind, renewing the mind, it brings us into understanding or helps us now to understand our righteousness. Amen. Amen. Everybody wanna be wanna be righteous. Uh so an understanding our righteousness helps the renewing of the mind uh process. And we let's look at uh first 2 Corinthians 5 and 21, because uh righteousness uh is uh is is uh something that uh I think we must understand uh that our righteousness uh through Christ, when we accept Jesus as our personal Savior, our righteousness that Jesus has made us to be righteous for him, uh that righteousness we have, right? If someone got saved today, they are just as righteous as I am being been saved 30 years or more. Righteousness. Because Jesus said, I've made you righteous. Now, here's maybe here's maybe the difference. The act, their acts of righteousness might not be developed yet. But your acts of righteousness do not determine that. Your acts of righteousness doesn't determine your acts of unrighteousness doesn't determine that you're righteous, whether you're righteous or not. Your acts don't determine that, right? And he understood that. Hope I said that right, amen. So my acts of unrighteousness does not change my righteous being. Right? Because I was made righteous. I didn't work in the righteousness. He didn't say after you pay, after you pray a thousand times, then you'll be righteous. He said, When I come, uh when I come to know him, he said, he has made me righteous. So 2 Corinthians uh 5 and 21 says, For he has made him to be sin for us. Who? Him, Jesus sinned for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. So I have to understand in my righteousness and in the processes of renewing my mind, I have to understand that as a part of the renewal mind process, it's necessary for me to understand righteousness. Because if I do not understand righteousness, when I mess up. Depending on who it is, what it is, it might take me, take me, it might take me on out. I'm thinking, well, I just can't, I just can't do this. Just can't do this Christian thing. But when I understand righteousness, I understand that even though I have an act of unrighteousness, it doesn't change my righteousness. Right now I am to grow, right? And be developed in this righteousness, right? As I'm renewing my mind, and as I grow and develop in righteousness, uh my acts of unrighteousness move away. They go away, right? Because I'm developing in the word. You've heard we say this. God's principle for change and for uh growing in righteousness. God's principle and becoming more like him is that I put the word in, and the word roots everything that's not like him out. Y'all with me? The word roots everything that's not like him out, right? As I put the word in. So God is not a God that wants to want me to suppress my wrongdoing. I think we said this a few Sundays ago, uh, uh just talking, but not really focusing on righteousness, is that uh proper uh meditation on the word of God is I understand who I am. Once I understand who I am, I can deal with the problems that I have. Right? Y'all heard the story of the uh of the of somehow, well you might have heard it or not, but you heard the story of somehow there was uh uh there was an eagle, and sometimes somehow an eagle egg got into a chicken coop. Somehow, I don't know how, but as the story goes. But uh, and the egg hatch and the eagle, since he was around chickens or sheep, the eagle took on the character of the chicken. But they said that the eagle always kind of felt like he was supposed to be more than what he was. So one day he was out in the chicken yard and he saw some fly over, and he looked at it, and when he looked at it, it registered to him that he's not a chicken, he's an eagle. And so the eagle began to take opportunity to see what he saw and do what he saw. And eventually there came a time of the eagle was able to, uh, the evil was able to get out and the eagle was able to fly. Because as the eagle grew, he realized also I don't even look like the chickens. Right? And so we have been made uh or and are being changed to look like or to be like Christ, even though we look like this today. You see what I'm saying? Even though we look like this today, we are being changed and trans, uh and uh I want to use that word transformation, and righteousness helps us identify with who we are, who we really are. Not necessarily who mama told me I was, or daddy told me I was, but righteousness helps me to understand because I identify with my righteousness instead of my unrighteousness. And when you can declare that you are righteous, even in the midst of doing wrong, when you can declare that you are righteous in Christ Jesus. Sometimes I have to say I'm righteous, I don't do that. I'm righteous. Sometimes things doesn't change overnight when I'm saying I'm righteous, but if I keep saying I'm righteous, whatever that thing is, it's gotta go away. Because it does not fit into the righteous character of God, so it does not fit into my righteous character either. So I have to understand that I've been made righteous. Everything that I am in Christ Jesus, he made me that, he made me holy when I accepted Christ Jesus. That's what I'm made. My acts doesn't change that, but although my acts should change over time, right? And so we've ridden grace pretty hard. Well, we took and we use grace to justify our acts of sin. So we rolled grace hard. I mean, you can't really ride grace hard. You only ride grace to the be to the to the uh degree that grace is really to be rolled. Now you're just on your mindset, your own mindset of what I think grace is. Right? Right. I'm just on my own mindset. But God gives us that and and and uh helps us to understand and to walk and to live in righteousness. Look at your neighbor and say, Nab, I'm righteous. Amen. Look at your other neighbor and say, neighbor, I'm righteous. Amen. Righteous helps you, helps me to identify who I am in Christ. And when I get into a crisis, maybe because I did something wrong, if I understand my righteousness, I can I can come out of that crisis a lot faster than when I don't understand my righteousness. Right? Right. I still, when I make the get into trouble, because I understand my righteousness, I still can go to God and say, God, you know I I messed this one up. But I need you, I need your help right now. If I don't understand my righteousness, there are tendencies for me to do like Adam and Eve did run from God. But if I understand my righteousness, I messed this up. Lord, I know I shouldn't have said that, shouldn't have done that. Lord, help me. Uh repent, whatever, ask forgiveness, and and and I go to God to get help. I don't I don't run the other way. Why don't I run the other way? Because I understand my righteousness. I under I understand my righteousness, and I understand that this act that I did don't make me unrighteous, don't make me um uh unrighteous. Now you have to grasp that because sometimes you have to receive that by revelation, right? But the intent is not for me to keep doing the same thing and never put anything in place, in place, right, to prevent this thing, whatever it is, from happening again. I've put stuff in place.
unknownThank you.
SPEAKER_02The scripture says that when the evil spirit has gone out of a man and he goes and it goes into dry places and it finds nothing, the Bible says that the evil spirit returns back to its present location where it was. When the evil spirit sees that there is nothing there clean, he sees the place is swept and garnished, but there is nothing there clean, right? There's nothing in that place clean. It says now that that spirit goes get seven more spirits. You read me? Goes get seven more spirits, so that now when they come back to occupy, occupy this place, they have a stronger hold on. So what does that say? That says that when I what's that says that when I come into Christ, right? And and I accept Christ and He washes in me and cleanses me, that means that that place that I've been cleansed, I gotta put some in there. I gotta put something to occupy that space because some of those same things that when I was in the world I was doing, they're gonna want to come back. And if I don't have anything on the inside of me, the word of God, on the inside of me to denounce or to keep those things from coming back, those things can slowly come back into my life, and I find myself down the road doing the same things as a born-again Christian. We've all probably experienced it. But if I put stuff in there that causes me to identify, meaning I got something in there, my mind is renewed, I got something on the inside, so when that thing comes back, that feeling comes back, I can say, no, no, no, not today. Not today. You're unwelcome. You have been evicted, you have been put out, you have been voided, right? But I gotta put something in there. And so this is what the process of the renewing of the mind helps us to do, right? Uh, and it helps us to be able to grow and develop in Christ. And then you look back a year, you look back two years, and you say, and you said, Lord, then grew me up. Huh? Because of the word, right? And so we have to take on the word and we have to take on the renewing of the mind process. Glory to God. When coming into Christ, it is necessary to decide at some point which world that I'm going to live in in order to renew my mind. And some people have not decided which world as a Christian, because they're still running out doing unchristian stuff. So they haven't decided yet which world they're gonna live in. James said it very clearly. A double-minded man, double-minded person, is unstable in all their ways. And he says that because of the double-mindedness, they cannot receive anything from the Lord. Because you're double-minded. You're trying to live in both worlds and believing you're gonna benefit from both. And that's why we have to have uh in in uh in uh in we have to have singleness of eye. We have to have singleness of seeing, right? We can't be double. Right? It's gotta be one. Why? Israel, God wanted to be their only God. He what he didn't want to bring, okay. I'm a God, I'm gonna bring on the sun goddess, I'm gonna bring on the moon goddess, I'm gonna bring on the harvest goddess. God said, I'm one God, and I'll meet all your needs. He's still the same, he hasn't changed. And he says in Revelation that if you're lukewarm, what am I gonna do? I'm gonna spew you out. Right? And so, uh, and and so uh renewing the mind gets rid of all of this stuff that might be up there that I've picked up over the years and causes me to change my life into walking as God says I can walk. Amen. Glory to God, glory to God, necessary to live in. All right, and then so let's look real quickly at Romans 8 and 2. Talking about righteous Romans uh 8 and 2. For the law of the spirit of the life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. So so right now I'm not walking in the law of sin and death anymore because I am in Christ, because the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has did what? Made me free from the law of sin and death. So I'm free. Now you might not feel free, but the Bible is not a feeling book. The Bible is a do-in book, and we can go so much off of our feelings, and based off of our feelings, that our feelings are really leading us, determining what we do and how we do it. But when I first begin to come over into this thing, I have to bring my feelings a lot of times, have to bring my feelings a lot of time into order with the word. And say, that's not the word. We can't do that. That's not the word. And so you grow, you grow and grow. This is the renewing of the mind process. It is a continual process, it's never ending. I'll do it until I depart first. Right? So it's a never-ending process. But I'm growing and I'm developing in the things, uh, in the things of God. So so uh he says here in Romans 8 and 2, for the law, the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. So if you're in Christ Jesus, you really don't have an excuse. Uh easy, Jesse. If you're in the if you're in the law, the spirit and life of Christ Jesus, there's really no real excuse that you can present your case before God that said, nah, uh. Because he says it. He said, free from the law of sin and death. That means that I'm free. What free means? Free, free, free. Free means free. Glory to God. I'm free from the law of sin and death. And so this is another scripture that in my in my repertoire that I might have in renewing my mind that I want to say I'm free from sin and death. If I have sin going on in my life, I want to say I'm free from this. I'm free from this. The spirit of life in Christ Jesus is in me. I'm free from the law of sin and death. Right? I'm free from it. I know we don't, I know we don't like to say we free from stuff because you know, we some people say, well, what if he comes back? What if he comes back? You still free? You do the same thing with when it comes back that you did to get it out. The word of God is right, and the word of God is true in every situation, in every circumstance, and under every condition. Jesus has defeated. Hands down. People start to say, well, he had a fight when he went to hell. No, there wasn't no fight. No fight when he went to hell. Then there's nowhere the Bible says that God fought, that's Jesus fought saved. The Bible says that Jesus triumphed over him and made an open show of him. Wasn't no fight.
SPEAKER_01Glory to God.
SPEAKER_02That's why when I talk to the devil, it ain't no fight. You gotta have in your renewed mind, this is not a fight. You are really devil out of your zone. But sometimes we can be nervous about saying it. I don't know. I just uh, I just okay, whatever. All right, all right. And so um, nine, so Romans 2 and 8. And so uh let's look at 1 Corinthians 3, 16. We're gonna move right along here. So we I got up a little early, so I'm gonna try to get down a little earth. Amen. Glory to God. Uh 1 Corinthians 3 and 16, he says, Know ye not that you are the temple of God. That's a part of the renewing mind process, your righteous process. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God. Temple of God, this word temple of God or temple, uh, in the word Greek, it means Nos. It means the dwelling place of something that lives in something. So when they were saying temple back in the Old Testament or even over uh in the New Testament, Santa Gon, what they were saying that's the presence of where God lives. Or that's the presence, because Satan had temples too. That's the presence of where Satan lives. It all depends on who's in the temple. A dwelling place, right? He said, Know ye not that you are the temple of God. He didn't say you was gonna be the temple of God when you went when after you've been saved five years, you're gonna become a temple. He said, Know ye not, once Jesus' presence is the spirit of the seed of Christ enter into your life, he said, know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwells in you. What's the spirit of God? The spirit of God is God's presence, his power, his anointing, and his might. That spirit. In other words, the same spirit in us is the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. The same spirit that's Us it's it that's that's the same spirit, the Holy Spirit in us, the Holy Spirit, he is equal to Jesus, right? Because Jesus said, I shall pray the Father, and he shall send you a comforter, right? And he will lead you and guide you, just like I did, into all truth, into all truth, the Holy, the Holy Spirit. He will lead you and guide you into all truth. In that the Spirit of God that dwells within us, within us. Theologians were talking uh a little bit, and they were they were discussing, and they were talking about uh the creation, God creating the world, and then they were talking uh uh about uh Jesus coming into the earth. And they were they were trying to discuss and determine did God use more power and authority creating the world or the universe? Or did God use more power and authority raising Jesus and reestablishing what he had? The theologians came to the conclusion uh uh that because when God created the world, there was no force resisting him. But when he raised Jesus from the cross, there wasn't a force that could stop him, but there was a force that resisted. So he used more power to raise Jesus from the grave and seat him at his right hand. That means when we say God with power, authority, and with might, we say we says his power is unlimited, his power cannot be exhausted, his power is inexhaustible, uh, his power uh uh is is unlimited and goes on and on and on. What we're really saying is God is unlimited in all of his power, and whatever power is needed, he can bring it to pass. That's why there's nothing too hard in my life, there's nothing too hard in your life, there's nothing impossible for him to do. Because whatever power is required, when my faith is in him, he can do it. Glory to God. Glory to God. And he says that that spirit of God, of God, he said that same power, that same spirit dwells in every believer. I believe Ephesians 3 and 20, he said, and God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ax or think according to that spirit of God power that dwells on the inside of us. He's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ax or think, according to the power of the spirit of God, according to God's power that dwells within us. That means there's nothing impossible. And so my mind has to be renewed now that when I get in an impossible situation, there's nothing too impossible for me. Amen. Know ye not that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you, the creator of the universe dwells in us. The word dwell it means to live with, live with or live in, but more from a deeper perspective, it doesn't just mean to live in, it means to come up to become a part of.
SPEAKER_01Oh glory to God. Why did it went over somebody's head, did it?
SPEAKER_02Doesn't mean that he dwells, he just there, but it means to become a part of. I don't say anything that I don't hear the father say, because he understood the spirit that was living in him. He was hosting that spirit. And that spirit on the inside of Jesus was leading and guiding him and directing him and bringing him into everything he needed to do. He was the son of God, but even the son of God without sin. Right? But he still, even though he didn't have no, he couldn't say, Well, God, I don't have no sin. I can just do what I want to do. But he relied on the Spirit of God to instruct him and to teach him and to show him. The Bible said that Jesus overcame by the things that he suffered. Hallelujah. He said he overcame by the things that he suffered. So the same process that we would see, gee, I know the theory is out there too, but Jesus is on another level. And he is on another level. But he put us on the same level with him. He put us on the same level that while we're here in this earth, same stuff he did, he said, you can do. If I can renew my mind, if I can love him, love the Lord with all my heart, my mind, my soul, my spirit, if I can trust him and all of the endeavors that I face with. He said, The same thing I did for Jesus, I'll do for you. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. First Corinthians. We have been washed in the blood of Jesus and made righteous by his blood. Righteousness is a state of being. Us being humans is our state of being. That what does that mean? You you can't become a dog. I can't become a cat. Even though they got this animal stuff going on now. Y'all heard about the animal? Some people thinking they ain't acting like I said, look a here, look at here. Look a here, look a here. You you done lowered yourself to a being and you're supposed to have authority over. Or the devil is some man. He's something. Glory to God. Amen. Uh um righteous being there's a righteous state of being, our presence with him. However, it does not mean we necessarily do everything right because we're still in a growing process. I think God understood that. We are to be developed by the Holy Spirit in the things of God. We get developed in a lot of stuff. We get developed in the screen, it's good, nothing wrong with being developed, nothing wrong with being learned, nothing wrong with being trained. But a lot of times the spiritual component, even for Christians, is missing. I'm still kind of operating in Christ, just like I was kind of operating. I've learned, as I've grown, I've learned some more stuff. But still, from this from a particular standpoint, I'm still operating the same way as a as a as a Christian as I was when I was unsaved. And the Bible teaches us, instructs us that there should be a noticeable difference.
SPEAKER_01Glory to God. There should be a noticeable difference.
SPEAKER_02We are to be developed by the Holy Spirit in the things of God. When I come into Christ, or maybe even before I come into Christ, the scripture says in Hebrews 12 that's Hebrews 12 and maybe around three or four, that Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. He's the author and the finisher of what we believe. Right. Author as beginning, finisher as ending. All of this space that's in between, this is where the Holy Spirit is working in us. Right? To bring us to the finish point that Christ, Father, the Holy Spirit, has set us to finish at. Right? And so without Holy Spirit leading, at least sometimes, you can get Holy Spirit leading. And then of course, as we grow, we learn to follow the Holy Spirit, or we learn to follow the word or closer and closer and more and more. Right? So this is process, but it is growth. But I should be on a path of increasing in the things of God. If I'm not on that path, I really want to look and I really want to check and see what's keeping me, what's holding me back. So I really want to be on that. Really want to be on that process. And the Spirit of God. Amen. Alright, let's look at uh Philippians, Philippians 3 and 9. 3 and 9. I'm hurry hurrying on. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Right? And so we're talking about righteous. Philippians 3 and 9 saying, and be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ. The righteousness which is of God by faith. Can we get that in amplified if we can? Not having my own righteousness. And so you are probably familiar with that scripture that says our own righteousness is our fifth rags. That's why anytime I go before Jesus, I come before the Lord, I work with the Holy Spirit. The only thing I can really come before Jesus on is, uh come before God on is his word. Come before God on is, excuse me, is on the blood of Jesus. No matter how many sermons I preach, how many dances have been danced, how many doors I've stood at, how many uh praise songs I've sung, how many whatever, whatever, whatever, I can calculate all of that up, and that still doesn't qualify to uh overrule or be more than what the blood of Jesus has done for me. So anytime I come before Christ, I have to come with a mentality of faith, and I'm coming on the blood of Christ. I'm not coming on law about what I did because none of us were able to work our way into the kingdom. All right, and so in 2 Corinthians, uh 2nd uh Corinthians 5 and 21, he says, and may be found in him believing and relying on him. That's Philippians, amen. That's what we said, uh yeah, Philip is three and nine. Is that three and nine? Yeah, yeah, that's not yeah, that's one-on-one. Amen. And may be found in him, believing and relying on him, believing and relying on Jesus, not having any righteousness of my own, derived from my obedience to the law and his rituals, but possessing that genuine righteousness which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith. The righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. And this is why you have we have to be careful. They are good routines. It's good to have a Bible routine, it's good to have this, it's good to have have that. Anything you're doing that's kind of Bible orchestrate, it's good to have it. But what you have to make sure you don't make out of it a law. Right? Well, how do I know I made it out of law? Well, you probably made it out of a law when you tell somebody, uh, you know, I prayed two hours this morning. Because why do you need to say that? You're probably starting to be law-driven, even though it's a good thing, even though it's a good biblical thing, but you're probably starting to be law-driven. I read my Bible all the time. It's a good thing. But you have to be careful that you don't get over into law-driven stuff. The the believer operates and function and function with the Holy Spirit, with the Godhead, from a relational standpoint. A relational relationship. All the religions that you have, if you go study them, and I study quite a bit of them, all of them have one thing in common. They require and say, you must do this if you're going to do this. The Bible really don't require you to do anything. But in that's why relationship is necessary, and the love walk with him is necessary because that love walk brings you in to wanting to do what he asks you to. Huh? Not making you do it, but you're wanting to do it. You're willing and you're obedient, and you want to do it. Oh boy, I want to do this thing. I'm glad to do this thing that God has said for me to do. I'm excited about doing it. Well, God talked to me about the about uh about the young adults. Man, I got excited. I said, God, when? When? What, Donnie? Take this thing and some prayer? Do not even pray a little bit. Got excited about, was ready to do it. The question is, is that anything that you get excited about for Christ? I ain't saying you don't, I'm just asking the question. Anything you get excited about? Anything you know, God, you read in the word and you see something you get excited about? Huh? Huh? That's supposed to happen. If you're looking and you're a Christian, and you say, and you gotta, and you you don't get excited about the word, that's a problem. That's a problem, that's a sign. Right? But there are some things in this world, especially in your calling. When he speaks to you about your calling, what you're called to do, there ought to be a level of excitement in it. You might not know everything about it and how everything's gonna go, but boy, there ought to be a level of excitement. Boy, you were you ready to take off? Hold me, Lord, hold me. But you ready, you you are ready to take off. He said, not be found uh rely, but to be found relying on him, not having my own righteousness. Right? On righteousness sometimes. I didn't got any on righteousness because on righteousness sometimes means that God gives you something to do, and then you say, Lord, I can do it without you. Or you don't say that, but your actions imply that.
SPEAKER_01I said, Okay, Lord, all right.
SPEAKER_02I need you, Lord, to help me do this. See, boy, we have to be very careful. Because you can be in the church saying, I'm not living by the law, and living by the law, and living by it, and unaware. But if you have the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will pull on you, he'll pull on you a little bit. Hey, what's that? What what what you what's that going on? What you doing right there? See, that's why it's so important to be direct. I've got to quit, got to close. Oh, glory to God. Okay, all right. Oh, so also uh uh not derive from um not having any righteousness of my own derived from my obedience to the law, and it's rituals, richer, richer, richer. You have to watch out that what you create it don't become a ritual. Well, you just well, you're kind of on automatic. I'm just on automatic. Church is a ritual. I'm just on automatic. Church Sunday, 10 o'clock, I'm going on a ritual. I have no expectation of hearing anything, I have no expectation uh of revelation coming, uh, me getting a new understanding. Revelation, I have nothing. I'm just, I'm just, it's just 10 o'clock and I'm just going to church. And I have no expectation of anything. The Bible says the just shall live by faith. That means when I come in to church, I ought to come in here with a level of faith. Lord, am I gonna hear something? Lord, do you want me to release something to somebody? Lord, what's my part to play? Instead of just coming sitting in a seat and it's over, getting up and walking down. You gotta be careful, you might be in a ritual. Somebody might say, Oh, he sounds like he's trying to discourage us from coming to church. No, I ain't trying to discourage you to come to church. I'm just trying to maybe help you come to church in a better way. Amen. Amen. The Bible, and we're gonna I'm gonna close. I think. Uh in the Bible, uh, and and and and in the Bible, as we come to church, as we walk in the things of God, we we come in here with an expectation. Expectation that God is going to do something miraculous. That the corporate worship, the corporate praise, the psalms, the songs, the testimony, the offering. Oh, that'd be oh no, not the offering. Yeah, the offering. He's gonna do something mighty. But the body has to come with an expectation, right? Of faith to be released. Not from a religious expectation, but I'm coming to be on a corporate level with others and with my God. And with my God, and and with my God. That's what I'm coming to do. I'm coming praise him, I'm coming joyfully. I'm I'm I'm lifting up my hands. I already got a big smile on my face when I when I pull up in the parking lot. Sometimes, well, most of the time, every Saturday, almost every Saturday, I I come here and I spend time and I make sure I got everything done that I need to get done so that when I come in here, the only thing I have to focus on is the Lord. The only thing I have to focus on is God. I want to hear what he got to say. I want him to refresh me. I know I've been studying, but he might want to give me something else. And I want to put myself in the position to hear it. Because from coming with an expectation, I know some of you probably do the same thing, but I'm coming with the expectation, and then the preacher don't have to preach so hard, and the praise team don't have to sing so hard. Because the people are already positioned, and the cloud and the glory of God can fall into place, and it won't take us an hour for it to fall. Because we're trying to get stuff right. Glory to God. This is a place of worship. This is a place where we gather and we come in corporate worship to meet with our King. We don't come for show, we don't come for form, we don't come for fashion, we don't come for this, we don't come for that. But everything we come to do is to bring a spirit, the spirit of Christ in this place and the essence of God running and rolling through. That's what we that's what that's that at least that's my mindset. Right? And so, if our minds are not renewed, if my mind wasn't renewed, I'll go to church just like I went to church when I was 17. Mom and daddy told me I'm going, I'm going. I went to 2021. I'm waiting to church, just a good place to go. And you should go every nine and then, you know. And you should go every nine. You know, you know, be God, God, you know. Bad attitude. But since my mind has been renewed over the years, I understand my purpose and My reason for coming here. Each one of us have something to offer, and each one of us have something to give, and whatever we offer, whatever we give, we're gonna give it to the best of excellence that we can do it. Because this is for the Lord. Because He said, Whatever you do, do it as unto as unto the Lord. And that's why we're not I'm I'm not really here to play. I'm not really here to um kind of walk around attitude. And I'm I'm not really here for that. I have one assignment. But God said to me, build disciples, build strong families. And I can't do that. We can't do that from a soulless perspective. We have to tap into the spiritual realm. Our minds have to be renewed in order for us to feel the purpose and the calling that God has set on this ministry. Glory to God, boy. Y'all got me a little excited now. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. God is good. And he's worthy of all praise. And he's worthy of all the honor. But that's the reason why we come here. What's what? Okay. All right. I said I was gonna close. Let me put all of this up. Put it under here. All right. We want to say to you on our live stream today, we pray that you have enjoyed the word. Hallelujah. Well I mean, I'm I just really excited about Jesus. Amen. Just really, just really excited. Thinking about Jesus. And this man, while he was here on earth, done so much. And so I understand why he said that him and his disciples, after he had gone, they said, man, and and and these 12 men, these 12 men, 12 men said they went out and they turned the world upside down. Of course, it was more than 12, at least probably 120, that was up in the room, right? But he said they turned the world upside down. If just the churches in law, and we would get spirit-filled and led by the Spirit of God, and our minds were renewed for a connection with one another and with others spiritually, we could turn Law upside down. There wouldn't nothing go on in Law that they wouldn't have to come to the church to get.
SPEAKER_01He has strategized.
SPEAKER_02And he understands that separation and division prevents the full plan of what maybe God wants to do in a city from happening. But God knows he can start with one. One church. I'm not talking about one church, one church, our one church, because name one. I'm just talking about one church. Who has a corporate body of their minds being renewed and believe the word of God to the degree that they'll move on when he says it. Regardless if they understand completely all or not.
SPEAKER_01The power, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. It's the same power that's with us. That's within us.
